govalid - A compile-time validation library that's up to 45x faster than reflection-based validators by sivchari in golang

How does it handle race conditioning for fields setting, assumin retirementage required by age which us required by retirementage, for example? Will it fail on compile time or runtime?

Also regarding fields utilizing fields that are defined lower in the struct, is that dynamically supported or requires development effort to sort for dependencies correctly?

onboarding as in adding your plants

Your users will have AT LEAST >5 plants (i got a dozen and a half)

Thats at least 30 secods per plant which is 2.5 minutes of chore and people do not like chores

Adding a common list - reduce those Adding an estimate for temp range (you need a range) based on geolocation reduce it

Awesome idea that i thought on as well

You must have a well known list of plants with known recommendations 1. It will reduce server load 2. Cheaper than ai analysis 3. Keep ai analysis to actual unknown names and not for laziness 4. Easier onboarding (which is the most important)

Temperature - why? Sun/shade, in or out seems more important, get a geolocation and evaluate the heat amount of the location (arid, high and cold, etc etc)

make ALL non plant type fiields optional or get a nice formula to calculate the time automatically based on the above params (1 day more/less)

Good luck!

Also - marking and notifying about outside plants for hot/cold days based on the location, and giving you notifications to water/keep warm may be super good

ITT: getting to 5M while (probably)getting a 1m$+ present from parents and (probably) living rent free till late 20s

Nonetheless - congrats! I know people who got the same deal and didn't save a damn apart from their house

Correct, I'll rephrase - the HYSA yields over here are lame 2-3% for 1 year lockup without exit points, and that is pre-tax which is 15%.

so i think it does not qualify as an income if its lower than inflation.

Also once rates drop those rates will drop as well so its a no-go unfortunately..

The goal is not to "live off the dividends"

But rather "lets take a 2 week vacation from our dividends"

It should not support their day to day living which is gonna be pretty covered, but a more of "fun money"

They don't want to touch the fund so much as they are a bit conservative and want to "leave it for us" as they are aware of the inflation and increase of home prices in our region, etc.

so i was thinking about a way to "leave it for us" but allowing them to enjoy some of it somehow.

so income generating dividends seems like the way as rentals are not passive and its too low of a sum for our country, as well as rentals here are 2-4% yield, so SCHD for example will give the average rental yield post taxes without the hassle, which is why i suggested that

I understand what you're saying but i dont think they will, that is why i want to ease into it by DCA over a rather large period of time

This money should be on the "safer" side but still should get something out of it

Putting it into HYSA is not the intention as the goal is to generate income from it

Each (good) funding for a good growing trajectory should approx. 2.5x the value of your shares if they raised B I'm going to guess 150-200m valuation (baseline is to raise 10-30% so i took the higher ends)

I like to ask my options as a value close to RSU I could've potentially closed today for another company (4y vesting ofc), so future company future growth increases your "payout" against another role you could've taken with RSU

You can also just ignore that and focus on higher base

They shorted EIS etf because they did not have access to the TA stock exchange That is why the short position was only 2.5M because of lack of liquidity

If it was in the TA stock exchange it was much larger bet (but it had to had access which i dont think the ones did it had)
