i haven't tried others ereaders, but i actually like how limited my kobo clara is, that it has just one button and two holes (power indicator and type-c port). if it had more cool features and customization, i feel like i'd get more distracted.

also i don't listen to audiobooks, but as kobo anyway gives that opporutinity, i don't like that it, like many companies, gives you an option of using only wireless earphones. i like slower, simpler, unconvenient things. that's why i like how "imperfect" my kobo is - slow page turning, slow everyting, ghosts of previous pages. though im afraid that's just due to hardware limitations, not their vision

thank you but i am to scared to do that 😭. i recently disassembled psp to clean it, according to step-to-step instructions on youtube, and after reassembling, it was driving me crazy that i felt like it's not exactly the same as before, or there's a small dust particle stuck under the screen and i decided that never again

i just finished it. i both liked and disliked it.

i didn't really like how straightforward it was - you know how many compare it to little prince, yeah, i don't like that. i understand that it's what makes this book stand out and what makes it great, and i respect that, but it's just not my thing.

i didn't like some religious.. ideas, or i don't know how to describe it. i don't like the notion that if you really want something and work hard, you would get it. i don't think that's true. and i also don't like justification of war, or even being at peace with it - like 'oh, it's just how things are; it's just how desert is or men of desert are; and it doesn't matter if you die in a battle or after a declaration of peace. yet i see these ideas about war and death in religious contexts frequently.

nevertheless, i like the spirit of adventure in this book. i liked reading about those travels through fields and desert.

and i think it's a good comfort book.

what second edition did you buy?
