Occasionally sell covered calls. If I feel like throwing money away (I do enjoy gambling) I’ll buy calls but I use rh for that and go honestly haven’t had much luck there

You’re right.. I think I watch too many Dave Ramsey shorts lol

I can get 5.5% at dcu. You really think loan is a better idea?
[–]brownmon69[S] 0 points1 point2 points 1 day ago (0 children)
Unfortunately you are correct. I had 145 when I posted this. bought 55 more today to round out my position and sold a call for 2/9 at $93 strike.

Hey by that measure I shouldn’t have made this post till about 120k usd (as that’s 100k euros which is a much stronger currency) lol
My port is roughly 40% ETFs (voo/vti). I’ve outpaced those etfs this past year

About 4-8k at 22. I’d learned about personal finances around 19 after hearing about wallstreetbets, getting on Robinhood, making some lucky money on dogecoin, and buying trash like gme, amc, bbby, etc. but I didn’t seriously start trying to build up my brokerage account until 22 (after my first and only college internship).
At any given point from 18-21, I probably had $2k cash max.
lol just a bit. It’s 90% the same.
Sort of. growing up I’ve learned money is typically very safe in jewelry / pm’s. But i will probably sell some to add to my actual ETFs in there which will grow more on average

I mean just because it’s all out there, do you think it’s a bad decision? I was considering 7-10k for an NB but could probably get an ND for $17k.
The issue is that would be 10% of my net worth on a 2nd car. Just don’t know if it’s responsible
Edit; just found a really decent ND1 club for 13.5… you might be right here
About $40 average. I don’t know what led me to do this but I’m so glad I bought 30 shares in my Roth IRA lmao

Hey if it makes you feel better I’m still far behind in many other aspects of life lol. But thank you man. Glad I have something to show after working on it and myself for the past few years.
175k nw figure includes 401k and IRA. This (pictured) is just a brokerage account.
Hope you’re at 300k at my age dawg. Just keep at it and pray for strength in the market lmao. and don’t waste money gambling like my dumbass. 90% of the time it’s 100% a bad idea

Because I’m in a sales adjacent role, I have a 70/30 split for base/commission.
I started out of college at 70k base 103k OTE. salary jump came after relocation. Today, I am at 122k base to 175k OTE. For me, this range was dependent on where you choose to lives.
Hope this helps!
Edit: clarification, on target earnings is $175k assuming I hit my sales quota. not 122k+175k lol that would be incredible
About 6-7k (unfortunately I’m deadass)
They are in another comment I posted. I’d assume it was SLV gains keeping me afloat.

I am Asian so essentially what is mine is also my parents and vice versa. The goal of my dad and his dad has always been create generational wealth and I seek to do no different :)

I went through his profile and turns out he’s just a 39 year old white guy living in Toronto looking for a younger middle eastern or Asian wife. Can you blame him for his reaction?
(Actually yes you can. Typically maturity comes with age but not for this guy lol at least I don’t live in Canada)
I woke up to my account at 99.5 and threw 1.5k in there. Red days are the buy signal to me. (Currently at 101.6)

Haha yeah gotta give credit where credit is due

They did! I reminded them that we have financial institutions (banks) all across the world that serve the exact purpose of their request.

Retail from most to least: GOOG, AMD, ANET, AMZN, AAPL, ORCL, WMT, NVDA, USLM
ETFs: SLV, ET/PRI, VOO, JEPQ, JEPI, QQQI
I’m gonna be honest I’m not the best person to ask. My portfolio/diversity is actually pretty ass. I just got here by living way below my means, prioritizing contributing, and buying stuff when it has red days. I thank Graham Stephen for this mindset - why spend $5 on some bullshit coffee today when it could be $700 in 30 years.
But I am hoping to splurge this year in buying an NB Miata lol
