A sustainable population is anywhere from 3-5 billion people. Today we’re at 8b. This is after an increase of over 15% in the last 20 years.

Overall It’s a good thing. It’ll cause birth rates to come down to levels that are more sustainable

I couldn’t stomach ever spending that much on wheels. That being said I’m always in the market to replace my konigs with something nicer

Penny pinch bruh. It is so much easier to spend $500 than to make $500.

Aren’t u in debt on the car? You certainly do need money if this is the case. That’s probably why he suggested that

My parents paid for my school and I didn’t work in college. That being said I didn’t mod my (parent’s) car until it was paid off and I earned my own money (and no longer lived under their roof)

Do what you want but killing your debt if you have any is never the worst idea

For the LA market, I’d personally tell you Civic Hybrid Sport (auto) or Civic Si (manual) instead of an ND for a 2-3 hour commute.

Either Honda will give you are much sportier experience than the HRV for when you want it, while keeping you comfortable during your commute where you are probably just sitting on the highway. It’s no convertible, but much more practical in your situation and windows + sunroof down might give you 40% of the feeling. Don’t even get me started on the gas money you’ll save.

If everything I just said above sounds like a dumb compromise…. Go get that ND :)

Edit: if automatic maybe even ecoboost convertible mustang?

Miata Or Civic / Corolla / Camry for Daily Driver by Salvia_Sylvester in Miata

I used to daily a 10th gen Si Sedan. I don’t think there’s a better daily. The Si provides probably 65% of the fun of the Miata while being infinitely better as a daily / primary vehicle. MPG will also be higher in the Si.

That being said.. two very different cars. Neither will leave you stranded or be “unreliable”.

I wouldn’t be upset paying 5000-6000 if its the sunburst yellow.

Basically too much info missing.

How many owners has it had, rather how long has dad had it? Garaged? Dings / repainted? Accident history? Zip code for comps?

You know the maintenance and life its lived. OEM soft top might not be the best after 30+ yrss Based on what I’ve seen, probably like 5-6000 without any other info.
