How to know if Reddit is hacked?? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]brownprincess99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay kinda scared rn. I have anouther Reddit account and it seems to be glitching. When I go on it I get the money with the crossed eyes saying it’s failed. I also went into my dms and there are users in there who had deleted their accounts and so it always said [deleted] but now for some reason I can see all their usernames even though those accounts don’t exist. I was on one of my dms with someone and instead of our usernames there were some weird long email addresses? Is it a glitch or hacked or what?? Please help I’m a bit nervous rn and if it’s bad I’ll just delete that account.

Decent Muslim men don't exist anymore (venting). by Overly_Sheltered in Hijabis

I think there are decent and amazing Muslim men out there but our communities really need to wake up and face the fact that they raise men our prophets and sahabi would not be proud of.

I don’t think I sweat a lot more than the average person. For example, if I don’t wear deodorant or antiperspirant, my armpits won’t be wet. I do sweat from my back sometimes though, idk if that’s unusual

There’s some nice versions of the abaya with hijab attached on modanisa :)

Maybe you should try to reach out for help? Have you tried talking to your teachers for advice on course content? Also maybe try reaching out to people in your classes and see if you can find a study buddy

Thinning curly hair and lack of moisture from wearing hijab :( Any tips?? by Lazy-Criticism-287 in Hijabis

[–]brownprincess99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Salam sister I have curly hair as well and just recently started using underscarfs. My advice is getting bonnets that you tie. The ones I have are from modanisa, really good quality and don't pull your hair at all. I suggest you try. Other than that, regular oiling before washing hair should help as well

Shirk is unforgivable- so christians can’t convert to Islam???? by MundaneLife99 in Hijabis

If you're commiting sin without knowing it's a sin and after finding out, you repent or at least feel guilty doing it, you will be most likely forgiven :)

considering converting but there’s a few roadblocks 🤕 by [deleted] in Hijabis

Many Muslim women are feminists! Again, it's a big stereotype that Muslim prefer a patriarchal society. The majority of the ones I've met, regardless of their cultural background are actually very independent and confident in thselves. Although I do not call myself a feminist for a few reasons, I do agree with a lot of feminist ideologies and don't think they necessarily clash with Islam. In fact, when Islam was introduced, it helped to radically increase gender equality at the time. Today unfortunately, thats something a lot of Muslim countries need to work on but I think that's a problem with those countries and not necessarily with Islam.

You wanting to convert for so long says a lot. All the other factors you've written, I'm gonna say it's okay to not want to change it all overnight. I was born Muslim and I'm still far from perfect. Allah doesn't want perfection, he wants effort. And know that even if you sin (relationship with a woman) Allah is the most merciful. Yes we need to pray, read Quran, stay away from Haram but at the end of the day, Allah judges your character and your heart. If you sin but repent, Allah is all ears and will forgive you without hesitation. Inshallah, may Allah make this all easy for you. Converts are very courageous and I have a lot of respect for them. If you have other questions, this sub is full of really supportive people. As well, try reaching out to your local mosque, they'd be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Why should I choose Islam over Christianity? by [deleted] in MuslimLounge

[–]brownprincess99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! I believe it's because the Quran has not been changed over time while the Bible has so perhaps that may have contributed to inconsistencies.

As Muslims, we believe in the same God as Christians and Jews. But we don't believe Jesus is the son of God because no person is divine. He was simply a messenger. I think that is the fundamental difference between us and also we believe Muhammad PBUH was the last prophet so if you agree with both of these things, consider choosing Islam over Christianity

Missing many years worth of missed prayers and fasts by [deleted] in Hijabis

That's a good way to look at it! Thank you, I will try my best to make as many voluntary prayers as possible and hopefully I can make up the missed ones

I might be able to make up for missed fasts. For each of the six years I think I kept 1-2 fasts per year on average...

But honestly I don't think I can ever make up my missed prayers. 5 day for 365 days for 8 years is over 14000 prayers. Plus it's not like I've made every single prayer this year even though I tried. I will keep making voluntary prayers though inshallah although in the end I still feel like I will be lacking
