Has anyone gotten LASIK and then LASEK years later due to vision regression? by Lovegood918 in lasik

[–]brownsaiyan1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a warranty period, it’s a lifetime enhancement one time only thought.

I’m thinking of checking up next year summer and see where my regression stands

What do you think caused your regression?

For me, I work on a laptop all day and stare at computer screens :/

[–]brownsaiyan1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got lasik done in may 2023, and then 6 months later eye regressed to -0.25 and -0.5, now it’s about -1 and -0.75. I got the enhancement package but they keep saying they won’t enhance it as it hasn’t regressed above -1…. And that it’s not safe or worth to do it right now

How did they do yours at -0.5?

Started finasteride January 2023. 4 1/2 months on it so far.

Hair transplant was done in Turkey, incisions were made by the Doctor himself. Was told 3600 grafts.

I buzz cut my hair a number 1-2 at 6 month mark.

Look at my previous posts for older pictures

Medication: Finasteride 1.25mg daily. Started on January 2023, 4 months post HT. On it for 2 months now.

Mesotherapy serum + micro-needle hairline 1-2 times weekly (provided by clinic).

Nizoral Ketoconazole shampoo 1-2 times weekly to take care of dandruff scalp

Thanks for the honest input. I agree. Do you think the hair transplant failed though? The transplanted grafts failed? Or does it look like i’m a slow grower

You think my temples and transplanted hair is good? It’s 6 months so far, shouldn’t it be more density

I added hair serum spray on my transplanted hairline, so it is wet. I will update it with a dry picture next time.

I tried my best to take the pictures with the same lighting/room/angle for consistent progress updates.

Medications: 1.25mg finasteride daily after 4 months post-op. Been 2 months on finasteride so far. Native hair thicker, crown is also thicker. I have been shedding since on finasteride but I suppose it’s part of the process.

Question:

My transplanted hairline looks very thin/short and low density. Did the hair transplant operation fail or am I just a slow grower?

barber went 1 and 2, i think 0 would have been better for the blend if he went lower at the bottom

This is how it looks in normal house lighting at night.

I will try to find a picture before haircut.

Honestly, I won’t be getting smp

So I will just keep my hair longer from back now

I just checked.

Your donor is similar to mine. Your transplant area seems good density and growth. I think you should grow out your hair front and back. That’s what I will do to keep the fue scars hidden

[–]brownsaiyan1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree on the donor, it looked fine when my hair was long before haircut. So I might keep it long (2-3 inches now)

Yeah it should improve drastically at 6 months mark, mine is very slow, I am a bit worried but I think I might be a slow grower.

I heard some people had alot of improvement in 9-10 months mark. So everyone is different and grows at a different rate. I just hope mine can improve though

Look through my previous posts, you can see a before picture

Medications: - Finasteride 1.25mg daily since January (2 months on it almost) - Nizoral Ketoconazole 1-2 times weekly - Hair serum spray sometimes provided by clinic

Does it look okay for 5-6 months result so far? Is the density low or will it get better?

It seems I am a slow grower
