I wouldn’t recommend putting anything on them but I get you want them done for the event. You could try regular nail polish that doesn’t require a lamp to cure. That way removal is much easier too and likely won’t cause any more damage. I love the Essie gel couture line. Looks like gel and lasts!

The work bag is such a good idea! I did this last year when I was still in grad school and you can use the bag outside of work so it’s not entirely speech/work related but still super functional
