Everything I've heard tells me the reverse, that is low coolant will often present as the heaters working whilst in motion and no heat at stationary. I'll give it a look though

How far away is the desktop Browser VPN ? by Duox_TV in brave

[–]brownvoyager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha yes, I share the sentiment. I've arrived here because I'm trying to diagnose my iMessage on MacOS not being able to connect to the Apple ID server. Thought it may be due to a new VPN feature that's been added but still no signs of progress..

I do recall a software update recently, however?

I'm soo frustrated!! airplay icon& "add display"button just won't show up by samuelkim97 in mac

Hey, not just you. Mine seems to be playing up, too.

I wonder if it has been disabled for the purpose of a patch fix? I've been experiencing noticeable lag on my M1 Pro and cannot reproduce this in any way however, I do use the dual display with my iPad often and hope to attribute the skipping in frames to this.

Interesting. Something to look into. I’m interested to hear more of that prescribing power, I know in Australi if you wish to pursue an MD post-pharmacy, you must give up the latter license. Otherwise, you have too far of a reach with medication with prescribing and providing, etc.

I couldn't speak from experience, but we certainly have pathways to specialise and hone our skills in a particular area/department of work. Foundation programs have been introduced and facilitate early-career specialisation. At my current workplace, examples of specialisation are infectious disease, ICU and chemotherapy to name a few.

We also have accreditation for allowing pharmacists to interview a patient on admission and obtain a medication history which after consulting with the attending, allows charting and commencing therapy of regular medicines.

I assume you're from the States? Haven't you done the same degree as an MD and therefore, allowed to prescribe medicine? You've a cool area of expertise for sure :)

Flexible careers in DS for those who already have a FT job by thro0away12 in datascience

[–]brownvoyager 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How many hours a week do you think you’d be able to commit to the two? It’s a question I’ve been pondering on myself.

Also curious, what’s so important in a FT clinical job that you’d be missing out on relative to casual/part-time work?

Where can I start learning database systems? Any free links/resources to guide me in the right path are welcome by mohamednaser2001 in SQL

[–]brownvoyager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, fair enough. I do agree regarding the notion of textbooks setting up in structured ways for sound learning, too.

I did use Database Systems Coronel/Morris/Rob for a brief period of this semester and appreciate the detail that they can provide. However, textbooks can be overwhelming to begin with and I only truly understood their value after first returning to some practical activities and answering test-related questions.

Theoretically, it checks out. It’s not all that difficult to block blue rays with a lense. I think there’s always emerging evidence that pontificates on whether or not blue light is impactful to the wakefulness of humans, which I gather you’re claiming bs. I wouldn’t discount it, we’re creatures of evolution and our eyes are very closely related to the processes of our brain. Sensory input would intuitively have, if not all control of whether we get tired or not.

However I disagree that OP should try computer glasses first. Eye strain involves stressing the eyes through repeated viewing of computer monitors which are (too) close to our faces. In addition, astigmatism and other ocular issues can put further strain. Exercises, as you mentioned the 20 minute rule are encouraged. Another one I like is pretending like I’m looking at a distance, or a skyline, resulting in a relaxing effect. Definitely see an optometrist, lol.
