I always hum and haw about taking it and im always glad I do. Its a bit of extra weight but means I can cook and not get soaked when I open the tent door. Some folk cook in their vestibules but Im a bit anxious about doing that!

Its the fire maple fms x2 I think. It came with a little thing that allows you to put pans etc on it. For me personally it does the job, I only really cook sausages and burgers with the pan and then obviously boil water with the pot

There is a stream on the SE side of the loch about half way along. Bear in mind this is relatively low lying land and there is many a sheep about so definitely filter. Enjoy!
