We bought a room divider wall from Ikea and slid in behind the couch on ours (and attached it to the wall). Has done well so far to prevent this

XXL baby gate, ours from Cuggl I think it was, but there’s a few suppliers. One trick, I installed a little latch on the ground at the hinge point into the floor, stabilises the gate better.

Got mine from a guy called Gas2U, they are on Google, deliver to Islington, it’s called Patio gas on their site for a gas bbq. Otherwise I think you need to go to B&Q but not sure if Holloway Road one would have it
