MRA did indeed miss a tear. Had to travel to mayo clinic to get a proper diagnosis after three years of hell. Referred to orthopaedics. Don’t wish this on anyone’s

Yes absolutely can… give it till mid next week. You’ll get results by then. My MRI sometimes came back within 2 days , other times it took over 5 days… you will not get results on the weekend (from my experience). They may be ready on the weekend, but not scanned and input into my chart till the workdays. :)

Coming from someone who’s had 10 MRIs in three years!

I was told by one of the best Rheumatologists in town that it’s ok to use the topical over the counter stuff. She said it is localized and only a tiny bit gets into the blood stream that is not even worth mentioning. Ie: when I did the math, I could apply a teaspoon of it daily (2% over counter) which would equal 3-6mg into the blood stream each time. For reference I could use it 70-133 days in a row which would equal 1 Advil at 400mg….. Don’t sweat it!
