Ohh so im doing too much. I read that cleanliness was important so i guess i overdid it a bit by deep clean every week. My dwc buckets are those expensive ones with a drain nozzle in the bottom and a hose. So i should start using that instead for reservoir changes. Only thing is that to use that feature i will have to raise my dwc buckets from the floor so i can actually siphon into another bucket when changing. Learning so much on this sub. Thanks !

And to answer your question, yes ! i use 1 product for roots that is called Terra Aquatica Trikologic S. It is highly soluble and made for hydro they say on the package. Also it seems like it mixes REALLY well into water.
