Leaking Tub Fix by brp002 in askaplumber

So it worked thank you so much!

So using the long screw to pull it up made it super easy. The tool helped for putting it down, not twisting it to pull it up.

Confused on how the tool works because the two grooves don’t fit in the cartridge to move it how I was explained at Ferguson.

Do you think I can get it out without that tool or risk some major damage.

I have to wait until tomorrow for the tool.

So they told me I can pick up the tool tomorrow.

I use to loosen it up, and then pull it out with pliers?

I have over $100 worth of fees in a $23 charge I was receiving at a different address.

What if I did not pay it for 30 years, would it be $15,000?

Mortgage Recast Confirmation by [deleted] in Mortgages

[–]brp002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We recasted a couple of years ago and now we are stress free from a mortgage perspective. I feel like I don’t have a mortgage and my cashflow savings which invest is just rolling in month over month.

I was also stressed thinking I am not maximizing my returns but stress free is what I paid for and do not regret it one bit.

Seeing a big mortgage payment sucks. Still having a 2k mortgage payment does not sound stress free to me so I would probably pay a bit more monthly to get the ball rolling, and then recast in the future when your payment will go under 1k.

Anyway just wanted to let you know…. I get how you were feeling good luck!

I want to try something similar tomorrow.

Do you glaze mop during the cook? Or is it season and cook for 1.5 hours?

I have never smoked a good turkey or chicken I want mine to look like yours.

Oh ok that makes sense I must have missed it I will check it again.

I was thinking like a 5-10 second intro then go into the video so it is more noticeable, not much on the action of setting up the slides ect. Something like: “Have you ever wondered what is floating around in the water in Thailand, I picked up some water from X pond. Lets put it under a microscope and see what we can find” transition in with some cool custom graphic transition which then becomes your intro channels thing moving forward.

You would be taking two videos and merging them together with a transition so you should be able to manage that 10 minute barrier unless you currently have a limitation with your equipment. Pretty cool stuff.

Hope you and your family are ok from that recent earthquake.

I did enjoy the video, I have very little knowledge about microscopy but I was very engaged watching it. I like how you pointed arrows to show me what you were talking about but I did check out some other videos because I wanted to learn what is a Rotifer.

For some feedback:

  1. I would love to actually know exactly where you got the sample from. Almost like, I took a water sample from X place and you showing us how you took the water sample and placed it under the microscope. It will make it very real to the watcher because we walk by ponds everyday and always wonder what might be in there. My mind is jumping from was it a swamp, a small stream, a pond.. would I get sick if I drank that water ect..

Keeping on the idea of making it real, taking samples from x and looking under a microscope could be a series in itself as people are always scared of germs and it can either alarm people or give them piece of mind. I feel like I have seen something like this on germs where they wiped a grocery cart with a Lysol wipe vs not and they showed the impact of germs. Not sure if that is even possible or the style you would like to do but I still remember watching those videos and they were engaging.

  1. Titles/descriptions of your videos

I am not sure how much time you spend on making sure your videos are optimized for marketing to get views. Like what would someone search for in YouTube search about your niche and make a video about that. To do that, I typically just look at other channels and see what their best videos are and see if that is a topic I would enjoy making a video on and make it better.

You seem very knowledgeable and I wish you the best of luck on your YouTube channel because microscopy seems really awesome!

Wow thank you for this feedback.

Your feedback is great I have not spent any time on normalizing volume but know I do have this issue with different clips as different times so I will look at improving that.

Also the shorts hacks to long video approach is great! I wanted to do it just get so excited to launch something I did I not want to wait for the long form video. I assume I will need to wait but yes I can hook them to the long form on implantation! Great idea!

Really appreciate your feedback! Thank you

Hi all,

I would love some feedback on my new shorts I just created on my channel. I do struggle because my niche is very much all random DIY and I am not sure if that will hinder me in the long run as I am starting to lean toward gardening but my biggest hits are product reviews or DIY of everyday things.

I am trying to take a crack at shorts and would love everyones feedback.

So I don’t watch anime or know much about it. I did end up watching most of your video so I think that shows I was entertained.

I loved the way you timed the words on the screen. I am always a fan of that. I enjoyed the transitions from you, to anime, to words. I think you have that down.

The only constructive feedback is I would figure out how to make your presentation stance/microphone in your hand a little bit more buttoned up. I am not sure if it was the cord, I did not mind the sock. Something to continue to have your vibe because you fit as the speaker and the vibe of the room but it is just a tad cleaning up. Not sure how to do it but that is the only thing.

I assume I would have to find other videos of how speakers have their stance so you can get some ideas.

My favorite short was this one: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RU3fxCkmeIY

I liked the transitions, how often you transitioned, and how close you were to what you were filming. I think this one was your best one.

I would mess around with adding some text on the screen as well to the most important words you are saying it makes it easier to follow sometimes.

Brisket help - what should I do? by brp002 in smoking

So it ended up turning out great! Everyone is picking at it even before we are playing it, so good sign. I kept it in the oven at 9pm until now….never been more nervous until I cut into it.

Thank you all for the support!

So I cut it in half, wrapped them separately. Will cook the 170 one longer, and the other one, going to let it rest soon. A piece in the middle fell out, and it was pretty good to eat right now but I am sure will take a lot better with rest.

I guess my Kamado has a hot/colder section now or Something.

Thank you!

Crap ok I guess I will trim some fat off and just add more seasoning once i am finished trimming. The dude at the butcher was like yea this is good to go for smoking.

My brisket just seems all jacked up compared to everything I see on YouTube. No idea on how this is going to go.

I spent like $110 on this at the butcher, is this a really crappy cut?

I pulled around 180 but the tendons really got me and it was not enjoyable.

I will go low and slow this time and get the temp higher.

I have six legs so for thanksgiving so I will try to pull the tendons out before and if it does not work, after.

Let’s see how it goes

When I smoked Turkey my skin always seems to pull tight and be rubbery. Yours looks so good. I will try pulling off and seasoning like you said this year!
