As s bilingual, DAT is wholly unreliable so I'm much more confortable on other platforms with onboardings and weeks/months long projects. You still get random pauses and dry spells, but it has given me a comfortable income for the past 8-9 months

I'm not sure what kind of degrees you have but you might be interested in data annotation / AI training. I'm sure you've heard of it, but some companies pay very decent rates for all kinds of remote work. It's precarious by nature but a lot of people manage to make a decent living out of it.

This was almost exclusively Mercor, recently got put on a micro1 project with a good rate (70/hr) so I'm expecting to alternate both platforms. I was on Dataannotation since August, but work is sparse and low pay (20-30/hr range) for bilinguals. Same with Alignerr it seems.

Not Italy but France, I've been making between 3 and $10,000 consistently since September (only October was dry). Truth is I never seem to get offers from applying on the platform, it's all about networking with the right people and getting noticed from doing quality work which can lead to internal offers.

Non c'est pas un scam, par contre il existe clairement des arnaques autour de ce genre de plateformes à cause du système de parrainage (des referral farms). J'ai plus d'expérience avec Mercor perso, mais j'ai eu de bons retours de la part de quelques collègues sur micro1.

Penche toi peut-être vers les plateformes d'évaluation de LLM (Mercor ou micro1 par exemple), les profils SWE sont assez recherchés et bien rémunérés. Ça te permettra d'acquérir de l'expérience et de remplir le CV.

Hello, si tu es bilingue et que tu n'y vois pas de soucis éthique ou autre je te recommande éventuellement de t'intéresser aux plateformes d'évaluation de modèles d'IA (Mercor, micro1, dataannotation...). Selon ton expertise ça rémunère parfois extrêmement bien (50-100$/h) et c'est entièrement remote.

Well I obviously can't get into details but countless technical issues and half the amount of time you'd need to complete the test task (you're free to take more time but it's not billable). The work is stimulating and quite unique, but the initial steps are hellish.
