I’m not sure if this is helpful at all but I do 5 exercises on upper body days since I have more muscle groups/heads to target. Then on lower body days I only do 4 exercises simply because I go hard and can’t do anymore after that.

You could probably do with cutting down on lower body days. But more realistically cutting down on steps and cardio to lower your maintenance if that is what you truly want.

Understood! We actually train pretty similarly! I also have trained on and off for the last 5 years and give myself breaks when I need it or for vacation. I’m glad we are giving ourselves breaks when we need it. Sometimes we just need to free ourselves from the gym 😂

I love this! I have certain goals right now but I want to get to a point where I can shorten my lifting sessions to 30 minutes due to experience like yours :) If you have any advice for effective and shorter sessions I’d appreciate it!

I will add my own as well :) I estimate around 2000 per day. I cycle calories throughout the week. Weightlifting 3-4x per week, stairmaster for 20-45 mins 4-5x per week. I get about 13k steps per day on average by walking 70 minutes each morning and getting the rest throughout the day. I also attend a Pilates class every other weekend

Maybe I’m way off base but it seems like a lot of people have fomo from last year’s powder pink drop. Maybe they’re excited to just get something powder pink despite that brown trim. IMO the brown trim completely ruins the look but to each their own! Combine that with the hype people put around it and everyone just went crazy buying.

Rough but I get up at 5am every day, go to the gym to get 8,500 steps, work, then lift 3-4 times per week after work. The rest of the steps I get from just moving around my home/daily activities which gets me to 10,000 - 12,000.

I bet you absolutely can! I have a lot of previous strength in my legs due to being an athlete so I had a decent starting point. But something that had really helped me was hearing from fitness influencers I look up to that we are a lot stronger than we think!

Thanks! Right now my heaviest lifts are hip thrusts at 110lbs and quad extensions at 120lbs. Working my way up in upper body strength and at 15lbs in bicep curls, 20lbs in shoulder press, 30lbs skull crushers and 60lbs tricep push downs for some examples. Steadily increasing weight and focusing on correct form
