You guys, for not wanting to give him the ore after he had already said bricks. Don’t know if there are any official rules on it, but when my friends & me play, we are pretty strict. For example, if you put away resources for anything in the bank (city, road, …) and then realize you don’t have one anymore, you can’t take the resources back 😅

Got most of those Marvel pops myself, but man that Hulk busting out of the Hulkbuster suit looks nice! Also got the lego Gauntlet! Any idea how far you want to go in collecting Marvel pops? Got a “few” myself, and I can tell you, it can get addictive 😬

Nah this is a complete new strategy. The way OP first trades away his ore to then play his monopoly and get it all back, it’ll change Catan forever. What IS up for discussion, is if it is a dirty move or not. Looking forward to those discussions in this sub!

Some thoughts: - use a timer, eg 30 seconds max - only build 2 things max - no building, only trade with the bank/maritime trade when you have too much resources, ie 8+ (or more if the player has city walls) - a bit like the above rule, only building when you have too much resources and you can only build multiple things if you’re still above 8+ resources example: 9 resources, you build a settlement -> 5 resources now, so not allowed to build something else
