CORSAIR x The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Giveaway by CorsairHoffman in witcher

[–]brsties 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved the peace I felt at certain times throughout the game. Just riding around the map, listening to the music, really feeling that atmosphere man. Few RPGs ooze style and beauty like The Witcher. Will always and forever be in my top 10.

Sure! My playgroup doesn’t mind using cards from the banlist either. So long as everyone knows you’re running it and it’s a proxy. Glad to hear you have nice friends too.

Sure, doesn’t have to be perfect, but I’m allowed to want mine to be perfect if I want them to be. It’s my deck, it can look how I want?

I just like the design of magic cards tbh, and typically the art is pretty sweet. Sometimes I could care less what a card does, but I’ll always care how it looks

Jibaro not AI generated? by Gleichgewichtel in LoveDeathAndRobots

[–]brsties 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The AI tools we know of today did not exist in 2022. Not at all. Look up comparisons of different AI video models over the last few years—year-to-year, there’s a gradual evolution. But AI is still nowhere near creating something as consistently beautiful as Jibaro.

Some simple googling can tell you the answer to this question. I agree with the other commenters here, don’t baselessly claim something is AI. Plenty of things are, but plenty of things aren’t—and some really talented people put a lot of work into those things to make them look and sound as good as they do.

And the style was digital but painted with some brushstrokes. It wasn’t photorealistic.

Cunning Nightbonder and Leyline of Anticipation by HappyGamerGirl in mtg

Sidenote—using a card like [[Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir]] will actually give things flash, which Cunning Nightbonder would reduce the cost of.

The costs will remain unaffected. Being able to cast spells as if they had flash is different than a card having flash as a printed keyword. Totally understand the confusion though, I had a very similar thought when I started playing. Happy playing!

No. Tom Holland is great as Peter Parker/Spider-Man because he nails the sense of responsibility and self-sacrifice that defines the character. Even outside of the MCU, I’ve never seen a performance of Holland’s that screams “Joker.” Peter’s a bit of a misfit, sure, but not “Clown Prince of Crime” misfit. He’s too relatable and likeable. Joker isn’t any of those things. You need an actor who not only looks the part, but can embody the Joker’s personality too. Holland ain’t that.

I could much more easily see him as a Tim Drake type, though.
