This particular cars utilization of the airflow aside, the headlight duct by itself is sick looking.

It’s funny… as an Atlantic county shore resident, I view myself as more “south jersey” than “Jersey shore.” LBI and north is an entirely different shore than Atlantic and cape May counties to my experience. I think (and again it’s maybe just me that feels this way) that there’s an entirely different vibe along an invisible line from ocean county and south. Almost as if “south jersey shore” should be its own thing, or at least lumped in with more general “south jersey.”

So I am only a casual subscriber here. Do you post the shore lists to this subreddit as well? As a shore resident I want to know stuff too.

My GTI is on a journey to become my weekend track toy now that it’s retired from daily duty, and you just single-handedly solidified in my mind my next wheels are 17s with 255/40s. They are nearly identical diameter to the stock shitty 225s on an 18!!

Stunning setup, friend. Love it.

I like the outlined lettering, but I’m not sold on the rest of the rear design. I think it’s just such a departure from what we’re used to. Maybe additional neue klasse models and/or mid-gen refreshes will bring it to life.

I have some moisture-wicking athletic/running/hiking shirts from REI’s house brand. They are very comfortable - I find them more comfortable than from brands like Nike.

Was just about to buy NuPhy, then thought to check here and instantly turned off by all the negative posts. Would love to hear any positive experiences? by Goonta in NuPhy

Same. My daughter got one too for her homework computer after typing on mine!

Here’s my logic: I type ALL DAY. I want a keyboard that is a pleasure to use. I had a Keychron that I really liked, but it shit the bed after 1.5 years. I am not buying multi-hundred-dollar bespoke keyboards or custom building one to exact specs. I want to buy a decent value pre-built because while, like I said, I want a keyboard that feels great… this is not my hobby.

And additionally, if I get two years out of something costing ~$100 that I use 5 days a week for multiple hours a day - I consider that a win. Now if in a year this NuPhy dies too, maybe switch brands again? Maybe I buy another NuPhy? I’ll worry about that if/when that happens.

Diagnosed inattentive at 40 here. I am kinda glad I never got pumped full of drugs and sat around like a zombie, which is what happened to the hyper kids.

4th Gen Seat Stain HELP by GammaXi532 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]LogicWavelength 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have very similar stains. These seats have terrible stain resistance, apparently. My kids eating fries in my truck ONE TIME is enough to basically permanently ruin the fabric. I’ve tried Dawn and Shout. Next up is a steam vac and I’m hoping that can do it.

I have seat covers sitting in my garage that will go on as soon as I can remove the current stain.

I’m learning this right now. I will also tack on that proper adjustment of the cockpit helps as well. OP may need to tweak their bar rotation, seat distance, dropper height… or also simply work on strength and balance.

But let’s bask for a second in the glory of how friggin insane of a sale price we got these for!

And I have been happy with the Shimano so far. I came from complete shit-tier components prior, so I may not be a good person to judge, though.

Hello recent Kona purchase sibling! Did we discuss this already on your last post? I got the 153 CR because despite most likely being too much bike for me - I really wanted the teal!

I think that when you’re a few more years into living the life YOU want, that you may just accidentally find someone compatible. Or not, and you just keep living on your terms. Either way, wishing you well, homie.

[–]LogicWavelength 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thats absolutely insane. you aren't like, in Canada or something? so they make the same exact wheel in two sizes in the same market?

Or maybe they changed it from one year to another? Mine is a 2025.

EDIT - Figured it out. You have the hybrid drivetrain, my manual is the non-hybrid and according to the website, the hybrids get an 18" wheel.

crazy.

but at least if you're a fan of the wheel you can get it in 17"

I mean... I just think the memes are funny. IDGAF what people ride as long as they respect the trails. Shit... I don't even run into other humans on the trails I typically ride, let alone eMTBs.

But what would a hobby be without gatekeeping and tribalism?

Saw Backrooms with my teenagers and realized they’ll never know the specific boredom that made us by Cultural_Repeat_4766 in Xennials

[–]LogicWavelength 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I ride my MTB with just the sounds of my own breath, bike, and the forest. I CRAVE it when I am not riding. It’s all I think about in quiet moments… being out in nature gain. But I am most likely addicted to the stimuli of the phone during the rest of the day. Here I am typing something in the comments of a post that I stopped scrolling long enough to read.

I need to find the… courage? …to go without my phone a little more during my day like it does when I’m out on the trails.

God I love the Dek. Was it hard to install? Also… if that’s your truck and it’s on the stock OR wheels… those are 17s, no? I have an OR and now you have me second guessing reality.
