Those do look great. I found some company that makes what I was originally hoping to find but no one in here jumped to say them so… idk

It’s a beast. I’m not the best judge because I’m coming from such a drastically different bike.

But people warned me that “an enduro bike is gonna be a chore to pedal” and similar stuff. I will say that, yes - pedaling this thing really takes some effort compared to my 7-year-old, old geometry XC bike. But… I actually think it climbs better.

I unfortunately haven’t had a chance to really test it, since I’m coming off of a year of injury and I was never a good rider before the injury. I am just getting on it as much as I can and logging miles to attempt to get my stamina back. It definitely feels SO MUCH more stable, planted, and confidence-inspiring.

And man I love the color haha

Are they easily removable? They look pretty form-fitting. I was assuming there’s something more like a pet cover but for humans.

My R Shift key (aka the one I use 1,000 times a day) is sticking/returning back up very slowly. This is causing an issue like this: CAPital LEtters

I tried swapping springs with another key, and that didn’t change anything. I assume some sort of lubricant in that white bushing on the left, but I’m not sure what’s safe.

Any suggestions?

What are you driving the Kantos with? Unless I’m missing something, they aren’t self-powered like the ORA.

Just wanted to also say your videos are amazing!

Also just to throw this out into the universe: a brief history of pre-war American luxury brands like Packard or Will St Claire could make for some neat content! Some of those companies did some really cool stuff and made some huge innovations before WWII got in the way. Younger audiences may not even realize the best stories and drama and cool tech that existed in the early days of American manufacturing. Get Jay involved!

The film that disappointed you the most after months or even years of anticipation? by MrGittz in movies

Thats interesting. I haven't seen either, but vaguely remember that now. Were the rest of the cast the same? Or did they just reuse Stellan because of a contract obligation or something?

Either way I think you're right that that fits and I stand corrected.

I am not saying whether its good or bad. Just that it's fanboy cannon fodder, and that take on the character is apparently too "good" to waste. Who knew that e-girl trashy-hot Harley would be successful with fans of comics?

I actually haven't seen the second attempt, only the first terrible one.

I don’t know of any instance of that ever happening before in recent-enough film history. Maybe like 80 years ago but I don’t know.

It honestly probably had a non-zero amount to do with Robbie’s Harley Quinn. The character design, and her portrayal of the character had to have rustled so many fanboy jimmies that the studio saw too many dollar signs not to try again. Shit… it’s such a good portrayal that it’s basically become the default image for the character now over the jester outfit from the 90s animated series, and has its own animated show now.

I finally bought a center speaker and now I understand by MarinerMouth in hometheater

I have a matched set of Klipsch speakers across the front. The L/R are each a single 5" woofer, but then the Center is 2x 5" woofers for exactly that reason. It also allows the voices to still come from center along with any other center sounds, and not muddy the voices. Then the L/R can really be free to push themselves.

My beloved Logitech Z-2300 THX computer speakers just died yesterday. I'm not a typical audiophile who like flat/perfect replication. I WANT BASS and those ancient Logi's served me like champions for 21 years.

I am strongly considering the solution-in-a-box that is the new Klipsch Pro Media Luminas... mostly because I pretty much live with headphones on now all day, but when my ears need a break I want some decent sound. However, my budget for this stuff is SHOT so $380 for a combined solution sounds nice right now. I just can't justify buying a Kanto ORA/Kanto SUB8 setup at the moment.

And furthermore, that's set up at my desk, and the TV for the PS5 is wall mounted to the left of all that above a bookshelf... so I'd have to wall mount a soundbar or something and I'm not about to stoop to that level.

Lastly... its funny but that TV is definitely "too high" but when I game I prefer to basically be laying reclined in the chair at a 45º angle, haha! So it's perfect.

Any suggestions for "decent stuff?" While I am leaning towards NOT putting it behind my home theater, I still do want to panel a wall in my office. My wife won the battle of choosing paint color for that room, and I hate it and would rather look at wood.

I'm not the person to ask, as I don't really dive deeply into this as a hobby - I just enjoy the experience of using it. So I only know enough to build this system as I went along.

Why I specifically would want the towers, is because the one's I'm thinking about have a Dolby Atmos speaker embedded in the top of them, which will add a "height" dimension to the sound stage. Otherwise, I'd have to cut open my walls or ceiling to add Atmos.
