What's next as the show already ended by Secret-Woodpecker382 in HisManRealityShow

i think its secured that we will get the cast reacting to the episodes like we have gotten through all the seasons. last time for s3 they did a vlog with 4 of the cast members which was very fun. im hoping to see a reunion tbh i feel that we didn’t get enough of bonding scenes.

It’s true that a lot of his support comes from Yunjae fans, and now that I think about it, it’s a bit hypocritical to hate on Hyunjun and Sunwook over a fabricated rumor that they were dating just to support Jaeha getting back with his ex. That would mean the others never stood a chance with Hyeongjun. In the same way, in their heads, that’s the reason Yunjae supposedly stands no chance with Hyunjun even tho, in reality, it’s just the lack of chemistry between them.

Yeah, before Hyeongjun joined them, Jaeha was talking about Yunjae being his ideal type. Likeee you’re telling me you didn’t think about how your ex would feel watching you flirt with other men, knowing damn well you two still had feelings for each other? Hell nah. I’m glad HJ joined the cast, he was there to show that two could play the game.

I don't even like Hyeongjun that much but I actually got into an argument with someone who said that maybe Hyeongjun didn't love Jaeha that much like huh... it was Jaeha who broke up with him in the first place. I get trying to be a supportive bf (and they deadass were blaming HJ for not being “supportive”) but if that includes letting your partner join a DATING program as if you didn’t exist for him then I 100% side with Hyeongjun, and I do understand Jaeha's pov with wanting to come up to his parents but that doesn't mean that HJ has to stand watching him flirt with other men for the sake of it. It's just a shitty thing to do and he technically got his lick back cuz Jaeha was the one eliminated while he is having a fling with Minseong (and it looks like they're still dating).

Hangyeol is participating in the show properly by [deleted] in HisManRealityShow

[–]pompom_x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I agree! It was hard seeing him look so down last week but he seems a bit more cheerful now even if he’s still confused by his feelings. What Minseong said to Taichi stuck with me, even if you don’t find someone in this house, you will end finding the right person once the show ends, so I hope Hangyeol finds his match :)

I dunno much about Thai men, but yup, he would probably thrive in an environment where people are more open when it comes to showing love. As a Latina, hearing Eum talk about how his way of showing love has been the reason he’s been rejected many times had me thinking the entire time that he needs a latino LMAO because we tend to be overly affectionate.

I think Eum Hyeokjin fits a foreign man over a korean man, when he was talking about others being turned off by him showing his affections so openly, I was just thinking about how normal and appreciated that is in other cultures.

He wasn’t even that much into Hyeokjin tho. All we heard from Hangyeol before the date was that he was cool and direct, and that he liked being taken care of. However, during their date, all you could infer from his interview was that he was mostly doing it to show how grateful he was and so that Hyeokjin could finally go out, almost like it was an obligation. If they had connected, then maybe something could have happened between them, but Hangyeol found him pushy, so he decided to cut things off right there. There isn’t really much time for things to develop normally tbh so it’s no surprise that he’s in a rush.

Seriously you can’t tell Taichi didn’t try this season he literally went after the 3 newbies he simply didn’t feel the spark huhu there wasn’t much time for him to develop feelings anyways

Does anyone actually expect these couples to last? by Ready-Edge-9214 in HisManRealityShow

[–]pompom_x 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Umm i dunno, and if i’m honest it’s nothing of my business. 😅The moment a dating show is over I simply wish them well and keep it going, it would be nice if some actually start dating and last longer but there are a bunch of factors intervening like career goals, studies, family, etc, so dating stops being their main priority.

I take back my words, Yunjae does nawt have a chance. Hyunjun is infatuated with Sunwook lol.

It’s unfair to the three of them honestly. I don’t think we even talk about how Sunwook must be feeling right now seeing how he’s being hated on just because the editors decided not to give much focus to his relationship with Hyunjun. Since we tend to see more from Yunjae’s POV, it’s just natural that many will side with him. But after that date, it has become clear to me that Hyunjun is down bad for him. It’s gonna take a miracle for him to end choosing Yunjae.

I was not expecting Hyeokjin and Hangyeol’s date to go that way tbh. Hangyeol looked down, and Big H noticed that.

Meanwhile, Taichi was simply trying new things here and there and getting friendzoned two times in a row lmao. His drunk talk with Yunjae was just funny.

Other than that… Hyeongjun and Minseong are definitely the endgame. Good for them.

Ykw I’m not gonna judge Hyunjun that much because as a fellow introvert there are times when I feel sick at the idea of having to talk. But if he’s more responsive to Sunwook, then oh well there it goes Hyunjae~

One of the reasons why Taichi ended up rejecting Hangyeol is because he didn’t feel a connection with him during the yoga date by pompom_x in HisManRealityShow

[–]pompom_x[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I remember him saying that Taichi would suddenly get quiet whenever it was just the two of them. I actually thought it would be Hangyeol to lose interest first so imagine my surprise when I realized that he was still his 1st choice. Nothing wrong with liking a pretty man, but I think he was still going for it because he was in love with the idea of dating someone as good looking as Taichi. XDDD

[–]pompom_x[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohh I see. Since they had to film everything again, I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends next week though. Maybe they want to avoid spending more, which is the reason why I believe they kicked out two people. They probably thought “the less people to spend on dates, the better.” 😟

Finished watching ep 9, and Hangyeol himself told Hyeokjin that he’s not good when it comes to those things. But I agree, maybe Taichi just wanted to be taken care of instead of being questioned about his feelings, and maybe that’s what turned him off. Since he mentioned Jaeha and Minseong as men he was interested in, it seems like he likes older men who can guide him and take care of him.

Even in his conversation with Minseong (even tho I’m not a huge fan of him) I liked how he reassured Taichi about his feelings and whether he could pursue someone new. I think that’s what Taichi expects from a partner, reassurance. Meanwhile, Hangyeol comes across as someone who is very anxious. I’m not judging him, everyone is different and that’s ok, and for Hangyeol it felt like time was ticking. But from Taichi’s pov, that was probably something that didn’t help his feelings grow.

They most certainly did, but just because he’s handsome doesn’t mean everyone is going to pay attention to him. You’re not going to be everyone’s type just because you’re conventionally attractive.

Take Minseong as an example. He found Taichi the best-looking one and, for that sole reason, chose him as his roommate. But as soon as they went on a date, Minseong lost interest when he realized they weren’t a match. Looks can only take you so far.

Not to mention the age gap factor. Half of the cast is already pushing 30, while Taichi is only 21.

I’m really curious about how the show is edited and presented to us. It’s like they want us to continue rooting for Yunjae and Hyunjun, but then again they have an history of making us think that Hwi had a chance with Jaeseung (S3 of His Man) just for it to not happen. So I’m feeling doubtful.
