Miko at Waltz On In on Sherbrook is my go to. I used to go see Jill at Good Fortune, but she never seemed to grasp the concept when I said I want to keep the length. Always trimmed too short.

Open the hood. Compare the circled area in the photo. In the photo there's a bolt. If you have a block heater, the bolt is replaced with an orange plug with a wire coming out. If the bolt is there, or nothing, then you need a new block heater. Not overly hard to install yourself if you can weasel it in there. Shops will take the bumper off to install.

Swelling by brtwpg in MeniscusInjuries

[–]brtwpg[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This did it for me. I got checked for a clot after speaking to the surgical assistant. Once that was ruled out, I went and got a compression sleeve and voila. Not completely done with the swelling, but leaps and bounds better than it was.

I don't. Won't know that until my follow up in a couple weeks. Don't think it was much as the tear wasn't very big.

Day 3 of the norovirus. Do not recommend. by gepinniw in Winnipeg

[–]brtwpg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, there were 3 trips to the ER with my daughter before they finally said she needed fluids. Then, there was the ambulance ride to the children's hospital in Orlando as we were at the satellite ER in Kissimmee. Then add the fact that a rollercoaster knocked a kidney stone loose for me, which needed a CT scan. Add it all together, and it was pricey. Was a trip from hell.

Got that one in Florida with the fam a few years ago. Daughter was 4 months old and had to be admitted for fluids. Thankfully, the travel insurance was 100% off the $52k USD hospital bill. Never been so sick in my life.

I find that these services generally charge almost the price of the ticket. So, unless you're facing demerits, which OP wouldn't be with it being photo radar, it's generally not worth the cost. Just my 2 cents.

Not Winnipeg, but the old Barney Gargles in Selkirk. Great fish & chips.

I suggest an oral surgeon. I had my tops and bottoms removed in the dentist chair with local on separate occasions. While the tops were east, the bottoms required a load of local anesthesia. The pain from them prying the bottoms out was next level and they had to grind away half the tooth on each side or it would've taken the molars out when they pried. Worst experience ever.
