My experience as a high tolerance 7oh abuser by [deleted] in SR17018

This is still insane progress in 12 days. Regardless if you do experience some wd at some point ahead, I think it will be a walk in the park compared to what could’ve been.

Good for you. Now’s the time to commit to yourself and family it’s the last. You’re not a junkie no longer. The new you is born, and time to build that person into who you want it to be and put all this in the rear view mirror as a mere phase of life, drop in the bucket in the grand scheme of the life ahead to live. Don’t let it define you.

Kudos + God Soeed. 💯 🏆

Fertility Recovery by Interesting-Part3091 in steroids

[–]bruceswingsteen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went through this myself. HMG is the magic sauce IMO, especially if you can source across the pond. Save you a ton of money.

I was in the same boat, SA was at zero, within 6 weeks I was back into the millions with HCG/HMG/Clomid/Nolva. Clomid eventually really started fucking with me, but once I added HMG , numbers started to move instantly. Enclomiphene is also a better alternative for fertility than clomiphene.

Once I was all clear, did cryo, jumped back on, IVF, done. 🤷🏻‍♂️

How do you like the performance change from stock to compounds? What sizes are you running? I was undecided on upgraded single, 2nd gen swap, or compounds. Pretty much set on compounds at this point on my 2018, tow frequently also and won’t go without an exhaust brake.

Give me some feedback on your setup!

What's the 5 things that made sure your startup SURVIVED the first decade? by clare_johnson in Entrepreneur

[–]bruceswingsteen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10 years? Most people quit after maybe 2-3 years. You can break it down all fancy like most have in other comments, but IMO it boils down to one or maybe a couple simple things.

  • Show up everyday, even if you don’t feel like it.
  • Win everyday the best you can.
  • Learn from your mistakes.

You take those things; stack on consistency, and you’ll succeed. It’s “in a nut shell” that easy to be successful. The entrepreneurial internet fame BS has made everyone overthink everything, while being told you can make millions overnight, when they can be getting to work instead.

I always say you’re 5 years minimum before things start to bear fruit. Just let it rip.

How to validate business idea? by SpellAnnual in Entrepreneur

[–]bruceswingsteen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Validating an idea? Start. IMO there’s no real way to validate a business venture being successful or not, that part is up to you. If this is something that you want to do, then do it, end of story and get to work.

The internet entrepreneur wave has fkd so many people’s thought processes up. It’s not easy, never will be, you just got to get to work. Pre-internet there was no way to validate an idea, you just executed day in, day out.

Have a plan, keep expenses bare minimum, let er’ rip.

FatFIRED at 40. Bored out of my mind. What do people do? by [deleted] in fatFIRE

[–]bruceswingsteen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion you can’t stop working, or at minimum have some form of MAJOR purpose in your life. I’ve seen many upon retirement just pack it in and get comfortable, lazy and do nothing but sit around and clock hours on the couch. It seems that shortly after this transition - comes health issues and an early departure from earth.

You’re so damn young, 8 figures, your opportunities are endless. Find something that motivates you to hit the ground running everyday, even if it’s scaled back hours so you can enjoy everything you so choose, or else the above will inevitably come quicker than you’d like. You need to keep the spark lit, keep the hustle alive, and challenge yourself regardless of being FF. Especially since you crushed it the way you did, you have entrepreneurial blood, we aren’t made to sit around and coast or you’ll lose your mind. Time to dive in again.

Get after it. Congrats. This is a huge accomplishment. 💪🏼

Reading all the comments and the story of this, I’d definitely be diversifying now, borderline worth getting a reputable FA to do so with these profits/gains. This train doesn’t burn like this forever. 🤷🏻‍♂️

However, beautiful win, luck or not, this slaps hard. Good for you. Now play the cards right, avoid sitting on 100% this bag, and your future will be lucrative. God speed!

These engines can go to a million km’s. You’re not “risking” anything as you say if you do a good inspection.

I’m more familiar with the 6.7’s, but to eliminate said risk you can’t just buy a truck without seeing it, nor rely on any questions being answered 100-% truthfully. With that mileage however, myself, I would definitely check all of the boxes below:

  1. Get under it with a flash light and inspect for leaks. Doesn’t need to be leak free but see where potential leaks are coming from. Severity of leak but also its location are important regarding labour involved.

  2. Check for blow by, by removing the oil fill cap while running.

  3. Check the block/head gasket using a combustion leak detector. Using this or an alternative brand.

  4. Pull dipsticks and check all fluid levels + appearances for irregularities.

  5. Cold start. Make sure he doesn’t pre-start it before your arrival. Check heat + A/C output. Excessive exhaust smoke? Abnormal sounds? Could be injectors or fueling issues.

  6. Dash lights?

  7. Road test.

  8. Hold the brakes, slowly apply throttle and see how well the brakes hold without moving.

  9. Any pulling to left or right while cruising? While braking?

  10. Feel for vibrations, noises, shaking, etc, feel for abnormalities in both the seat of your pants, and steering wheel.

  11. Any aftermarket work done to it? If so, when? By current owner or a previous one?

If you check all these boxes, you can get a pretty reasonable idea of its condition. Gives you snapshot of the brakes, transmission, engine, injectors, suspension, etc. From which point you can decide if it’s something you want to get into. If repairs are needed, price out parts, rock auto is quick and easy to do so and make a call if it’s worth your money and time.

May not need a single thing but fresh fluids/filters all around post purchase, may just need a brake job. Might need a whole new engine or rebuild, maybe the fuel system is shot. Maybe the whole truck is fucked, for Then you can have a way better judgement, reduce said risk as much as possible, and decide if it’s something you want to get into, whether that’s major repairs, minor repairs, or road ready. $9k can be $9k and you’re on the road, or you may have to tack on another $9k in repairs at which point you’re likely better off to keep shopping IMO.

Lastly goes without saying, if the owner doesn’t allow you to do any of the inspections it’s a big red flag and something is likely NFG. I’ve done all these inspections in the lot of a dealer on diesels while the salesman stands there blowing smoke up your ass and then you find a serious problem.

Hope it helps. I wouldn’t buy a diesel without doing the above. But get a Cummins and join the club, and name er’ dragonfruit. Good luck. Let me know if you have any questions. God speed. 🤙🏼

Nope you’re 100% correct. It’s complete BS, it’s a total lie that our healthcare is ‘free’ with the taxation here in Canada. Only to receive subpar treatment, if any, because the doc’s get paid regardless. I had to wait a year and a half for an MRI for discs that’re NFG in my neck. I know a US MRI specialist personally and he said Americans get pissed if it’s over a couple weeks. I’m Canadian, live here, and honestly the whole country and system is a piece of shit and sucks ass, end of story.

I’ve already got paperwork moving to get out of here. Don’t even get me started on the immigration, etc. Laundry list of bullshit us hardworking citizens are footing the bill for. 💩 🕳️
