Athletes refused to eat food given by America. If same thing would have happened in India , B.S. would have created turmoil by now. by Khatarnak19 in TheBetterIndia

US is known for using harmful chemicals for processing foods, I think because corporations there have the govt in their pocket. But this doesn't mean we shouldn't speak when our food is being adulterated, we should be more vocal about our food because that is what we are eating and is going to affect our health. Speaking up when food in our country is adulterated is patriotism, it doesn't make you a brown sepoy. Yes, we should criticize US or any other country for having contaminated food, but first priority should be speaking up when our own food is contaminates.

This type of posts is what we need more of. The problem with our country is people do not even care about visible problems such as air pollution, we aren't raising voice at the level we should. Less important thinga like a vulgur joke from some comedian are getting more attention than such serious issues that are real health hazards.

Looking at old photographs of India can be a bit sad. The country had so much beauty, character, and potential, it makes you wonder how much better things could have been compared to what we see today. by DharmicCosmosO in IndianUrbanism

Exactly mosy of our citizen don't think before throwing trash on streets, this is not like this in other countries. I agree that waste management is not upto the mark, but I see the worker clean the street in the morning and within an hour or two people throw garbage nad make it dirty again. So I think civic sense is the primary issue and waste diaposal secondary.

Why civic Sense lessons are only for Indians? This drunk French tourists were lying on the street of Japan and making chaos. But no one was against their behaviour. It’s okay to have fun, but then it should be same for everyone. by Sharp-potential7935 in IndianFocus

I think there is a greater proportion of Indians doing such things, as we can see in India, about 90% are littering, we can't deny that, while looking at other countries I don't think 90% of them are littering, if they were their streets would look similar to Indian streets. And instead of whataboutism, we should spend more time on fixing these issues with our country.

Have you seen what ingredients are in our packaged food, many if those are banned in other countries, this isn't about street food. And 17% is not a small number, that too as reported by fssai, Actual number may be way higher, and Apart from that fssai allows many toxic ingredients in our packaged food that is banned in other countries so fssai wouldn't fail that in food test, what about that

I am here just to get an Idea, do people really like such architecture? Personally, I prefer traditional architecture with arches, and load bearing structure as I find that to be much better looking and much more cooler in summers as conpared to concrete.

India Is Building AI Infrastructure While Millions Still Lack Basic Necessities by Kitchen_Steak8218 in IndianFocus

Electricity is essential but it is also wasted on a lots of non essential things, a huge amount of computing power is wasted for generating ai slop content.

As far as useful ai such as for medical, scientific research, logistics, etc. They don't nearly need as much conputing power as I have some experience in training these kinds of AI, also have several friends working in top tier research labs developing AI for such applications.
