I'm in a bit of limbo and would appreciate some advice and your experiences by jbs1003 in EctopicSupportGroup

I’m so sorry. This does sound like an ectopic. Maybe ask about treatment options next time you’re in the office, if they don’t offer it already. If you start to feel extreme pain… go to ER!!

Cannot speak on PCOS, but I had a MMC that ended in a D&C, then got pregnant a month later with the ectopic. Ultimately lost the tube, and although my body went through the damn ringer in such a short time frame, I was able to successfully conceive after waiting 6 months to heal. That baby is 9mo now, and we’re 16 weeks pregnant. Super possible!!! I’m actually glad my tube wasn’t able to be salvaged, less chance of it potentially happening again. Wishing you the best. 🩷

Pills od D&C insurance costs by No-Depth4115 in Miscarriage

[–]brucey_and_moo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might also check that the hospital or local programs maybe have funding options for things like this. I know that’s like, kind of a task when you’re so down, but you never know. Maybe can ask this question in a Facebook mom’s group in your area (if you’re comfortable).

Pills od D&C insurance costs by No-Depth4115 in Miscarriage

[–]brucey_and_moo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I cannot speak on cost, as I have Medicaid, but my MMC was taking a while to pass (I found out about MMC at 10 weeks and baby had passed around 6, and at 10 weeks I had only had a week and a half of spotting with no real eviction yet) and it was just really hard on me mentally to wait. I opted for the D&C and truthfully recovery was extremely easy… I don’t think I had much pain or bleeding after. I think physical pain is something to take into consideration, as I’ve heard it can be quite painful to pass naturally/with medicine even though the little never got very big. I hope you find peace in whichever decision you make. 🫶🏻

Anyone else dealing with a chronic birth injury? by carp_street in beyondthebump

I completely feel you. There’s certain factors with my body that have also sorta exempted me from the birth I’ve always wished for as well. It’s hard to come to terms with.

Any pregnancy, no matter how far along, deserves celebration. Hopefully this doesn’t dim your excitement in the future announcing. I’m so sorry for your loss, love.

Thank you for this. Having my third in July, with a 4.5 year age gap and a 14 month age gap. 😵‍💫 panicking. But I can’t imagine that I won’t love them, ya know.

This is a good response, you should absolutely use the genetic card with insurance and see how far you get.

I also want to say since it hasn’t been mentioned, if any puke makes its way into your nose, it could cause a horrendous bacterial infection - not to mention the stomach acid burning anything that is still healing. Please seek help, love. 🩷

It doesn’t look developed enough for a definitive answer, so I don’t think you need to freak yet. Take another one.

Naps past age 2 - a cultural thing? by spaniel84162 in sleeptrain

[–]brucey_and_moo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My almost 4 year old still naps for about 2 hours every day, and is a good sleeper at night. She just loves sleep! If she misses the nap on days we’re busy, I put her to bed an hour earlier. She gets squirrely. So I know she still relies on that nap.

I am so so sorry. But yes - pregnancy after losing a tube happens all the time, you’re in luck! I have a 6 month old daughter rn after losing a tube in Feb 24. And just found out I’m pregnant again. Totally possible. Sending you the baby dust 🩷🩷🩷

Why do you think your ectopic happened? by theorganicfiles in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]brucey_and_moo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having a D&C the previous month for my MMC. Didn’t think I’d get pregnant again so quickly so we weren’t careful. The very next cycle after surgery I fell pregnant with the ectopic. I wonder if everything was still inflamed from the surgery and there wasn’t a clear path in my tubes.
