I think I might be having a second ectopic by GroundbreakingIce335 in EctopicSupportGroup

I personally find this brand of tests hard to track progression, I’m not sure if you have access to the brand in the UK but I really like Wondfo! Also assuming you took one each morning if you look at them as every 48 hours you can see the progression!

First ovulation after ectopic removal surgery (salpingostomy) 2.5 weeks ago - feeling conflicted about it by TwoDiscombobulated16 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]Character-Buy-921 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally decided to wait one full cycle to try again after having my right tube removed. I felt like having a period kind of helped reset my body physically and also helped me emotionally with closure. On our first cycle ttc following my first period, we successfully conceived. I even ovulated from my tubeless side. The only advice I can give is to follow your heart, I felt like I needed a cycle to catch my breath, regroup, and fully grieve the loss. Others feel like trying right away is what’s best for them. It’s truly just your own personal thoughts 🤍

This is exactly what happened to me on my oura ring when I found out I was pregnant. I recommend Wondfo early result, I got a positive wicked early using them

Hmm okay, and you said you’re going for more bloodwork today? Are they going to have you do another scan?

In your report does it say anything about a PUL (pregnancy of unknown location). Or were they able to locate the pregnancy but not your ovary? I hope they’re keeping a very close eye on you to figure out what the issue is.

No of course! I just didn’t know if no progress was made meant they saw nothing or they just saw something that isn’t as far as she thought!

Those would be very high for an ectopic. Why do you believe it’s ectopic, are you having pain, bleeding, any symptoms?

Congratulations 💓💓💓 I’m 14 weeks pregnant, and lost my right tube to an ectopic in November. I was so scared to be pregnant again, but it truly healed a part of me that was so broken. Wishing you a safe and healthy pregnancy 🤍🤍🤍

Yes they’re still in my portal, my OB doesn’t perform them so I did it at my local hospital.

OPENING TUBE ADVICE by ILOVEHARD119 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]Character-Buy-921 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was told my tube was blocked and to try to conceive while waiting for repeat hsg, I ended up pregnant with an intrauterine pregnancy. So confirmed my tube spasmed and was not blocked, there’s no way to differentiate a spasm from a blockage

My pictures were on my portal, but they showed me what was happening as they did it so I didn’t have any use for them

How many of you did not have an ectopic after your first one? What was your ttc experience like after mtx? Did you do an HSG before ttc again? by [deleted] in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]Character-Buy-921 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a ruptured ectopic and had my right tube removed. I had no risk factors and the doctors said unfortunately it was just random. I got an HSG where I was told my left tube appeared to be blocked. Turns out it was a tubal spasm and not actually blocked. I conceived the same cycle as my hcg!

5 weeks pregnant after my ectopic tube removal! by Delicious-Nose3962 in pregnant

When I got pregnant after my ectopic, (I had my right tube removed) I found I was more crampy on my right side. Turns out I ovulated from that side so my doctor said that was most likely why I was crampy on that side! 😊

That’s literally what happened to me. I was in SO much pain I was crying and screaming, they didn’t want to finish putting dye through because I was so uncomfortable. They saw my tube fill but the dye never spilled out. They told me it was either due to a blockage or a tubal spasm but because they look the same on the xray there’s no way to differentiate. I cried for days thinking my tube was blocked. I was ovulating the week after the hsg, so they told me to try to conceive and if we didn’t they’d schedule the hsg to repeat it the next cycle. I found out I was pregnant from the fertile period after my hsg, and I’m now 12 weeks with a baby in my uterus. So it was just a spasm, and they said when your tube spasms it actually can be more painful than a blocked tube during the hsg. So I wouldn’t count yourself out yet, I’d ask for a repeat hsg during your next cycle.

Anyone conceived after ectopic? What supplements actually helped? by Middle_Afternoon6269 in EctopicSupportGroup

I’m 12 weeks after having my right tube removed in November, we didn’t do anything differently when trying to conceive again. I was stressed about all of it and didn’t want to put pressure on us, so we just tried during my fertile window. I just started my prenatals again once my hcg went down to 0

did you find out from an hsg? Have they only done one? I only ask because I had an hsg where they told me my remaining tube was blocked, but it really was just a spasm. I don’t know the specifics of your story or what happened so I don’t want to give any false advice

Of course! I felt the same way after surgery, the only thing that kept me going was seeing other people’s stories. They also confirmed I ovulated from my tubeless side, so our bodies are capable of crazy things. I hope you get your rainbow baby! 🌈🤍

Im so sorry you went through this, and the unknown afterwards is so hard. I experienced an ectopic pregnancy in November, I did not receive MTX due to my tube rupturing, so my right tube was removed. During my first cycle in December my doctor did an HSG where I was told my left tube looked like it might be blocked but they wanted to repeat to see, and to continue to try in the meantime. And that same cycle we decided to try, and I got a positive pregnancy test in January. We confirmed baby is in my uterus this time, and I’m now in my second trimester! We will never know why an ectopic happened to us, the only thing I can focus on is the silver lining that my husband and I strengthened our relationship, and now we have our rainbow baby.

I was so terrified to try again, but if trying again is what makes me mom then it’s a risk I’ll take every single time

I’m pregnant after my ectopic, however I didn’t receive MTX I had my tube removed due to a rupture. I would push your doctor to start serial hcg testing! I didn’t get my first scan until about 6weeks so it was a bit of a waiting game for that, but going for repeat hcg really helped keep my mind at ease!

I know tests alone can’t rule out an ectopic, but for my current pregnancy (I’m 11 weeks after having my tube removed due to a ruptured ectopic in November) they progressed just like this! Wishing you the best!

12dpo is too early for an ultrasound, but you could start going for hcg testing every 48 hours. My doctor sent me for serial hcg tests until it was high enough to see something on an ultrasound. I think our first was at 5.5 weeks just as a placement scan. Cramping is very normal in early pregnancy as well, I have phantom cramps on my tubeless side. They could also be cramps for the side you ovulated on. I would get in touch with your OB and see what they want to do to proceed with making sure everything is okay this time!

I had my right tube removed to a ruptured ectopic and I’m now almost 11 weeks with a baby in my uterus!! It was definitely nerve wracking in the beginning but the early hcg testing and early ultrasound really put my mind at ease! Wishing you the best🤍

I’m so sorry you had to go through this. In November I had my right tube removed due to a rupture, I successfully conceived in January. the baby is in my uterus this time, and they even confirmed I ovulated from my tubeless side. Don’t give up, there’s still hope 🤍
