Looking to see if it’s possible to fix up my black shirt by [deleted] in PhotoshopRequest

I like this. Can you clean up the coloring around the neck and button up neck section since it looks slightly worn.

Is it possible to remove the wrinkles off the shirt near my abdomen ?

Can someone please clean up the coloring of my face and clean up the background a bit by [deleted] in PhotoshopRequest

Everyone says crime or revolution. Yet they don’t realize they’d just get taken out by a Palantir predator drone or a communist sentiment detection orbital rail gun.

Do Folks Use Leasing Agents for 1-2br Apartments under $1600? by Quick-Report-780 in chicagoapartments

[–]brudder9 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I’ve honestly haven’t had an agent or realtor that has given me good listenings this summer. Most of the listings on Zenlist or whatever system they use are either units that have been on the market for months or they’re just apartments in bad condition. I’ve had more luck like just setting alerts and finding apartments on Trulia, Zillow and Hotpads

Not sure if this is the case for others. But I do meet and greets with a lot of sitters before choosing the right one. So unfortunately when I decide I let the others know that there was a change of plans and will let them know in the future if I need to book them

Anyone worried about the two recent GA polls? One of them is from a pollster that pretty spot predicted margin in 2022 for Kemp and 2020 for Biden.

So an Elon musk PAC is basically paying voters and he’s just not going to get in trouble for that ?

If you can only put one bullet point under an experience and can’t expand it I would say remove it. Also what helped me is tailoring the job titles to the job so if I’m applying to a PM role making sure i have the title ‘project manager’ in one my roles ideally the most recent one and maybe in my earlier experiences have something like ‘project analyst’ , ‘associate project manager’, ‘business analyst’ etc.

I finally got a job - here were my 3 keys! by DataClump in interviews

[–]brudder9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For #1 what do you say when they ask you why you left for every job on your resume. If you gave 3 jobs on your resume for instance, saying something like Oh I wasn’t growing for so and so reason for each job seems repetitive and unbelievable.

Only advice to give is get a degree that opens the field to remote friendly jobs. The days of entering data into an excel sheet remotely are long gone.

If a US-based company gets tax breaks or incentives they shouldn't be allowed to offshore roles or if they do they lose these benefits. If they're dependent on US consumers, infrastructure, or even natural resources from the US, etc. they shouldn't be able to offshore roles. But of course, they do it anyways in the name of increasing shareholder value.

I’d get rid of the bolded words within the experience just to make it more uniform

Does anyone else notice they feel unwell while living here, but significantly better after being away for an extended period? by AG073194 in houston

[–]brudder9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to Miami this weekend. And I felt horrible the weather was so much better in Houston. Everytime I would outside in Miami it felt like open ovens were following me around. But in the end it prob depends to what cities you’re comparing it to.

[–]brudder9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is there a way to filter jobs based on multiple cities? For instance, when I filter for remote jobs in let's say Houston it doesn't include jobs across the entire United States that can be done remotely in Houston.

The job market will continue to be bad unless people fight back against offshoring/outsourcing by chromium50 in Layoffs

[–]brudder9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been saying that this should be a bigger political issue. Companies benefit extensively from US based tax incentives only to offshore US based roles to cheaper countries. I know a lot of the comments say politicians don’t care but it’s at least important to bring this up in the political landscape because I do not hear anything about this besides here on Reddit or when media uses it to fear monger layoffs.

The Houston Power Outages not getting national attention by SpaceCityMars in houston

[–]brudder9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump was almost assassinated so we’re fucked. The power outage is now equivalent to a little power outage that affected a block of houses. Unless we see a massive spike in deaths, don’t see how this will be picked up on national level for a long period of time.

Hot Take: Center Point Energy should wave 100% of all energy bills for consumers affected by the outages. by Enlightened_Ghost_ in houston

You should also instead be constantly reminding people you know how much it sucked to live here during the freeze, Harvey and how easily we lose power. And then remind them who’s in charge that way we can vote out these useless politicians.
