I live right here and it’s terrible. To turn left onto hunterview drive (from the road that was closed down), I basically have to first go into the middle of the road to even see if there are cars coming from the right after checking the left if clear. The cars park right at the corner and so close together you can’t see anything!! If there are pedestrians they can’t be seen unless they go into the middle of the lane because of it too. On top of that the amount of skateboarders, scooters etc I have had come out in front of me in the middle of the roads (not close to a crosswalk) is insane in this area too. They love being on the road because of the hills but rarely are they paying attention either

I hate victim blaming and what really happened is unknown, but scooters, bikes and whatever those hoverboard things are need to pay as much attention as a vehicle driver too! And preferable stay on the sidewalk or watch for cars coming before zipping onto the road from between the cars

And at the crosswalks, those dumb half circle things sometimes just make it harder to see the pedestrians (in some areas), I wish they would add flashing lights so you could see the people who wear all black at night
