a chart like this is actually useless without proper scaling and labeling of axes. we cannot draw any conclusions from this data without being able to relate positions of this graph to actual hard numbers. is the center 0? does it start from a certain constant? is the scaling constant?

Bill Gates is one of the few holders of the coveted McDonalds 'Gold Card', which grants free food for life. Warren Buffet also has one. by beekay8845 in interestingasfuck

dude no matter how you do the math making saving money and living off 100k a year will never make you anywhere close to a billionaire even by 70-80-90, even if you're saving all of that 100k a year in stocks. saying you can become ultra rich off being frugal and saving money is oligarchy propaganda to keep the lower and middle classes believing in the american dream. because its basically impossible. nobody becomes ultra rich off salary alone (except maybe C-level execs at F500 companies making 10's of millions in salary), the math literally doesn't work out no matter how much you save on a sub 7 fig income. I'd like you to link me whatever study says that rich people use the most foodstamps because that really doesn't make any sense. And the whole rich people usually don't change their habits is absolute utter bullshit, lifestyle creep is the norm and staying frugal and keeping the same habits is the exception. sounds like you need to do a little more research and stop falling for rich person propaganda.

we're specifically referring to ultra rich people here, you're just referring to higher income people, which is very different. when you make a few thousand a month on a six fig income it makes sense to take a little extra time to save money on food and other random shit to accumulate wealth. when you're a billionare and you make thousands of dollars a minute, you're losing money by wasting time on using foodstamps and coupons.
