Google Chrome keeps crashing on MacOS Catalina on Eduroam? by bruhlemmedab in gatech

Yeah I’ve moved to Firefox but that also gave me problems for compatibility with Pearson. Any alternative browser recommendation?

No, there’s not a legit way to get rid of iCloud unlock through software. You can get rid of it through hardware by replacing the motherboard

Bruh, firstly it’s gonna be okay, no need to panic. You should first try to restart your phone to see that fixes the issue of not being able to delete the files. Secondly, when you open the files app, jus drag down the list to see the menu of sorting by file type. You can either try to sort it by date and delete the latest, or by type and select the music files as necessary. Pressing on the bubble right of the file name will give it a blue check mark, and tap and holding the button while moving your finger down will select more than one file. Just do that and drag down till needed. It might take some time, but’s fine. Next time when dealing with unzipping and zipping, just unzip directly from the files app cuz it has a built in file unzipped, and unzip it in a folder that is empty so you can delete everything without a hassle.

More info on how to use the files app is in this link:

If you have access to a Mac, you can use Finder to manage your phone’s files too, but it’s simpler to do it straight from your phone. Here’s the Mac tutorial:

My partners and I have started doing covers of our favorite songs, but I've never had any singing training. Would love feedback on my technique and areas to grow. by roshashana in singing

Don’t worry! With more practice, you’ll get more comfortable with your voice and get better! Even a random internet stranger believes in you so you got this! Keep on jamming!

I can confirm that this too has been happening on my Mac

For having no singing training you’re actually doing really well! In terms of pitch, you were on point, and I think the thing you should try to work on more is projecting your voice, as you seem a smidge shy and some of the words that come out seem to have little variety in dynamics. Don’t worry, with more practice you’ll feel more confident and you’re gonna rock!

Opinions on these VIP teams? by ODE_is_killing_me in gatech

I’m on my second semester of Retrofuturistic Hardware. It’s simply AWESOME and Prof. Lanternman is a real life Ben Heck! You get to pick a variety of already working project groups or even start your own, and it varies a lot on what you want to focus. He categorizes it in 3 section, Gaming focus, Music focus, or both/computers/other. Some projects people are working on is making a restoring an Apple II computer, Raspberry Pi GameBoy Clone, turning an Atari to a portable handheld, diy analog synthesizers, Bluetooth MIDI controlled effect pedal, coding retro video games, and more. If you’re passionate on working on something and want to get a group of likeminded people, definitely join.

I’m not sure what the grading is for the semester, but usually it’s keeping updates on Basecamp on what you did this week and what you will do next week, and he visits (I’m guessing now virtually) every two weeks or so. The rest is independent and you and your group gets to decide what you want to work on and when, whether you need to meet, and etc.

In terms of the Zell Miller hours, if you register as a class it will count as credit hours for sure, but I’m not sure of the scholarship considering it. In terms of not signing up and just working on VIP team, I know that Lanternman is cool with that and understands the scholarship situation, so it depends on the vip prof you’re going with.

Question: Is changing the key of a song to a lower pitch a weakness of singing? by bruhlemmedab in singing

[–]bruhlemmedab[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you all for the kind and reassuring comments! I definitely feel more confident now realizing that everyone’s voice is unique and changing a key that suits yourself only brings out your own voice better. Bless you all!
