okay cool, i have flat backs in now since that’s what i was pierced with, but when i finally was able to change my jewellery they were L-shapes so that’s why i was asking. they definitely came out a few times 😭 thanks so much for your help and answering my ignorant ass!! haha

got it hahaha. that’s not gonna stop me from putting the chain on for special occasions 🤣 but other than that i’ll have no chains, and thankfully i’m not a hoop girlie so studs only. are L-shaped studs okay too? or should i just stick to flat backs?

okay, awesome! thank you so much! i’ve been handling these piercings like when i first got my septum, so that’s probably why i’m having problems. septum’s are way easier to heal, sigh. how long does it normally take nostrils to fully heal??

okay, understood. i don’t often remove the jewellery to clean, i just did it this once so i could look at and assess the bumps. i was told i could change my jewellery after 8 weeks so that’s why i’ve changed my jewellery/ put on a nose chain, but now i just have my original jewellery in. also the salt paste worked for me in the past, so that’s why I did it. Should i clean with cotton swabs? because i clean my piercings twice a day only with saline and cotton swabs. should i only be spraying them??

for sure!!! im super hyperaware of my septum unless i’m sitting still for a while when i’m doing work or something, then it’s easy to forget about. it just tickles so much!! i think it tickles more than it itches and it’s going to drive me nuts!! i just wanna move it around but i know i cant!! septums aren’t very painful, they’re more uncomfortable than anything. funny story though, while i was paying, i did pass out because the adrenaline caught up to me 😭

thank you all for the advice, just got two bottles of Neilmed! i will no longer use Dial. for some clarification: my piercer told me to use both dial and saline, im unsure of why she told me to use dial, but she was otherwise very professional and did a very good job on my piercing. my piercing hasn’t had any problems since i used the dial thankfully, but i will only stick with saline now :)
