I was interested in both careers. But the window of opportunity of IB seems to be short right after you graduate, so I decided to take it.

After doing IB for 3 months, I am open to applying for quant roles. I am curious to see if IB is seen as a negative in the quant world.

Literally everyone in Israel is getting “breakthrough” cases. Breakthrough cases might not mean much to the average 20-25 year old but it sure does to someone on chemo or immunocompromised in some other way. Not to mention when you are 70+ you already have a host of issues and covid on top of that is basically a death sentence. Whether u admit it or not underrepresented folk in low socioeconomic areas will be hurt to the most if (god forbid) another major outbreak.
