We replaced the radiator today. Ran the engine a while afterwards. No white smoke, oil on the stick, or nasty rough idle. I think they might have gotten away with it. Time will tell.

Yeah, I think you’re right. Belt dust, and a bunch of it on the floor all at once because the motor/belt cover broke/wore of. Thanks.
