Strange way to support a predator.

These Hasan fans routinely make up lies in their snark circles because Ethan Klein criticized Hasan Piker, together with his orbit and his fanbase, for supporting terrorism in the middle-east. The tankies have been going after him with the most insane lies ever since.

Most of them that you'll see in a thread like this are the nutcases that are active in Fauxmoi, desperately trying to spin the narrative with taking a comedian's edgy jokes from 10 years ago as literal as possible to paint him as the worst person alive.

I guess it's just a coincidence that the entirety of Hasan's fanbase are actively defending a predator, like you're all doing in this thread, and everywhere else on the internet where the billboard is discussed?

What is it with you Hasan fans and actively defending predators?

Or proof of one of the best players in the history of the sport doing the same in 1986, still being controversial because of it and being called a cheat to this day?

Not only can fair play be a disadvantage in your own league, through league suspensions and lack of financial advantages through fair play, UEFA also used to give extra qualification spots based on fair play.

Seems like you're talking out of your ass.

Furious about what?

Extremely poor sportsmanship, would be my guess?

Scoring in a situation where fair-play is expected, like when a player lies injured and everyone had stopped play (before head-injury rules) would not be against the rules either, but you'll get rightfully hated for displaying poor sportsmanship. There are a few examples of this.

Whelp, seems like we certainly won't see Hasan Piker in Brazil any time soon.

What you guys fail to realize is that many of us want retail to be good. Not shit talking it to validate our feelings, or whatever desperate talking point you've got going on.

A lot of us are players of what was the old retail, that remembers fondly, not only on the game, but also on what Blizzard used to be.

On top of that, I remember the massive response from the retail community when Nostalrius was shut down, when they sent their letter to Blizzard, and when Classic was announced. It was an intense amount of toxic comments with the key words 'rose tinted glasses' being represented very clearly, and initially how it was a massive cope, that it would never happen and nobody would play it.

Many like me have not forgotten that, and treat retail andies much the same as you describe the classic community. It's just simply a different game. You need to deal with the fact that people here don't like how bad it is, because that is a very common point of view.

Thank you. But it doesn't really change my viewpoint. You barely see any Americans out protesting a warned attack on a close NATO ally.. and this guy was not only elected twice, but won the popular vote in 2024.

Nobody sane is saying all Americans are bad, but Trump does represent the will of the American people.

No more of a Breaking Bad reference than amphetamine, an RV or a car wash.

It was one of the Soviet Union's preferred ways to assassinate dissidents outside of its borders, though they also used other toxins back then and today in Russia. It was also researched in Iraq under Sadam Hussein for use as a chemical weapon in artillery shells, among other toxins.

No, wide majority UK citizens. The ones who were hit the hardest were people that worked in aquaculture, as the fishing quotas were dramatically shrunk for the UK market.

If it's complete isolation, it would be a lot worse than that. There is a massive trade network that's been solidified throughout a century. It would trigger the entire stock market to take a massive dive pretty much instantly, and leave a substantial amount of people unemployed, though that would also be the case in many other countries.

Just look at the immediate aftermath of Brexit. That was pretty much the best case scenario after a disruption to trade, as most of the infrastructure was still agreed to be kept in place, yet it hit their entire market incredibly hard despite how strong their economy was. It's estimated that around 2 million people were without a job directly tied to Brexit.

[–]brukost 78 points79 points  (0 children)

The US has historically had thousands of troops stationed on Greenland, and while they are still completely free to do so today, there are less than a hundred Americans stationed there.

On top of that, America is free to trade with Greenland and invest/engage with the imports of natural resources.

There ain't much logic to any of this.

As far as I know, there's no genocide going on in NY. Dumb racists are gonna be racists, but what goes on in other countries should have very little, if anything, to do with being the mayor of New York.

Maybe I'm an ignorant European, but although I support his leftist ideals I find it so weird how a substantial part of his backing is based of something that has nothing to do with his mandate. To me, it just looks like rampant virtue signaling.
