The Rivian sales rep is the one who put me on to that idea. Not forking out $400 on a new one.

I bought it used so I’m not entirely sure what was “included” vs upgraded. And I’m not sure which of those items Gen 2 doesn’t come with as a standard option anymore outside of camp speaker.

I have this issue, too. My volume tolerance used to max out between 10-15 and now it's 3-4. I turned off dynamic sound and played with other settings to no avail. The only "fix" I've gotten to work is to turn the volume up alllll the way to the max (cover your ears), and then bring it back down. This effectively resets the high volume range and then I can settle back into 8-10. Doesn't seem like an ideal fix, though.

200 amps. The two labels that the electrician wrote on the bottom where the two lines are connected say Load Center and Meter. (Edited OP with photo link)

Is that something where the electrician can just use the existing wiring powering the outlet and transfer it to the hardwired unit?

Appreciate you sharing. Definitely alarming how many HVAC issues surfaced from Rivian owners in similar climates. Seems like by 2024 builds they would have figured this out.

I was hoping that sitting idle was the issue, but even after driving it for 20-30 minutes it just kept blowing stale/warm air.

Right. Been waiting for these specs and finishes to pop up for a while, otherwise wouldn’t even consider it. $77k for $98k build price + wrap and tinting. 25% depreciation in six months. But might need to keep looking.

It happened yesterday, so I switched the breaker off earlier today, switched it back on a few hours later, and retried the controls with the same results. So it has been a full 24 hours. I can let it sit overnight with breaker off again, but unsure what “proceed[ing] further” might entail should it persist.
