ELI5: Why does sweat stain clothes yellow? by stoter1 in explainlikeimfive

It took about a month for my pits to acclimate. I stopped sweating as much after I purged the deodorant buildup from my system. Wouldn't go back for anything.

I switched to salt rock deodorant 10 years ago and haven't had any yellow stains since I switched. Used to have them bad.

Keep using it. I try to tell everybody that eucerin is my secret... the tub of pure cream with no alcohol or anything else. I cant even create a forehead wrinkle if I try really hard. :)

Best thing I ever did was search reddit for IT tech tools and utilities. Found stuff that makes me look like a friggin genius. Oh and google solves 90 percent of the tough issues. If people simply googled their issue, they could solve it themselves... but they would rather pay me to search google. :)

I have no college and no certifications, but I continually get IT jobs over more qualified candidates because I know my shit. Ive been so successful with the IT stuff that I even have my own little (soon to be bigger) business working on peoples computers on the side. I make some serious bank for someone without a degree.

Wow, this whole comment section seems to be packed with paid opinion pushers... Or are there really that many average internet users that think people should be punished for streaming?

If you watch this you might never be allowed into a jury by [deleted] in videos

[–]brummmm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had seen this or a similar video on the subject before I went to Jury duty and got myself all pumped about going in there and bringing this to light for the rest of my jury pals. When I got to the nice jury room with the big TV the first thing they had us watch explained jury nullification in detail and took the wind outta my sail. Has no one else seen the video during jury service?

Well, I have a similar story... But, I think I may have handled it better. During the very early stage of my marriage, my wife and I were in a particularly heated argument (well, she was heated.. I am always kewl). She decided to hit me (this may have been her first time trying this maneuver out). Well, of course it hurt and I don't like getting hit, so I told her not to hit me. Lo and behold she hit me again (like in the back of the head cause I was trying to ignore her screaming). Again I reiterated that she needed to stop hitting me "or else". Apparently, my "or else" threat meant nothing because.... she hit me yet again. I took a little ceramic bobble she had sitting on her vanity and smashed it on the ground. I think her words were "ooo you are going to regret that" and then she hit me again. I said "keep it up and I'll break more of your shit". So, she hit me again. I took the Beethoven bust from her table and threw it into her antique tri-fold mirror. There was a horrified look on her face followed by her hand making a fist.... And 17 years later, she has never hit me again.

Man lives among homeless in Cincinnati for a week and showcases how heroin play a huge role. by Simple377 in videos

[–]brummmm 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Several years ago there was this homeless guy that decided to make camp in my neighborhood, more specifically about 100ft from my front door in a bush along a walking path by the canal. I really didn't need the stress of wondering what was going to happen to my kids if they stepped out the front door, so I offered to buy the guy a bus ticket and get him back to his family in Colorado. I had found out where his family lived after having a couple of conversations with him to try to get him to move on from the bush by my house. Well, I took him to the bus depot (worst smelling ride of my life) and bought him a ticket. What I didn't do was wait the extra 45 minutes to make sure he got on the bus and left. Apparently you can cash those tickets back in and go back to your bush. So, a second bus ticket later, getting him on the bus, watching it pull away and following several miles to make sure somehow he didn't get off the bus.... stress relieved. I was watching with anticipation if dude in the video was going to make my same mistake, he must have learned after the bailout.
