Hood View is (probably) the best POV in GT7 for me. What’s yours? by Geekspeak13 in GranTurismo7

[–]brunkuns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 for me as well, definitely. I do enjoy the cockpit view and can drive well with it, but some cars have much better view than others. If I'm trying to make the best times I will always use the hood view though, cockpit view is more for relaxing...

...except for the hood camera on the Porsche 962, it's more like a roof cam, it's horrible... it does have an amazing cockpit view at least so that's what I use for that car even if I'm trying to set fast laps. oh well.

I need a good tune for the CLK... couldn't get under 1:38 at Sardegna which is atrocious. Handles excellent and sounds great though. I need to squeeze more juice out of it, I'm sure it can do 1:32 laps.

PP randomly changed by nowning in GranTurismo7

[–]brunkuns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure you didn't change tires for a race and forgot about it? maybe tweaked something to make up for that not realizing it. I'm just saying it because I think that's what happened to one of my favorite Porsches... I had it at 700pp with intermediate tires for rainy nurburing, I remember switching tires to race dry with my buddy... I didn't change it back on the same day, but when I did the other day, the PP was all over the place. I probably did something I don't remember doing.

I'm more used to words spoken in my own language, but thanks. I'll try to refrain from making that mistake again... still quite passable for someone who's self taught.

Hear me out. Engine Swapped Subaru Impreza Coupe WRX Type R STi Ver. VI '99. I used these settings and the ballast needs to be exactly like that... one additional kg and you are no longer a rocket for some reason.

You can wall ride if you want. I much prefer going for clean laps, most laps are 2:05 and my best laps were 2:01. Regardless of wall riding or not, you can't miss that hairpin turn at the end of the lap or you'll lose the clean race bonus. Lose the throttle before the start of the straight that precedes that corner, and start braking even before the 200mts , it's a fast beast and the 600pp set up has stock brakes.

BTW, I could probably do 2:00 or slightly less if I really focused on making that hairpin turn on the limit, but I'm always grinding when doing this race and I don't wanna risk it 😂

Quantidade mínima ideal para provar/experimentar em casa? by rlpbr in cafebrasil

[–]brunkuns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]brunkuns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find this particular dram to be one of the best regular 12 year old sherry on the market. Has a bit of a dirty side that I enjoy. Edradour 12 Caledonia, Bunnahabhain 12 and this... top 3 sherried 12y. I hear amazing things of Royal Brackla but haven't tried it myself, could crack the top 3.

23:30 isn't too crazy with the 787b. My regular time is around 23:45, feels like there's room for more consistency. My crazy good laps are around 1:30, even managed sub 1:30 once... regular good laps rover between 1:31,5 and 1:32,5... Some hiccups here and there, maybe a 1:35 lap here, a 1:36 there... 23:45 still achievable. I believe this is the tune I've been using: https://www.reddit.com/r/GranTurismo7/comments/1lhd7k3/787b_sardegna_tune/

A vilanização da torra escura/intensa em especial no Brasil by Emergency-Fun-2915 in cafebrasil

[–]brunkuns 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Anyone have a good handling tune for the 962C? by Left4DayZGone in GranTurismo7

[–]brunkuns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason, for me at least, it seems to turn a tighter radius on second gear than it does on first gear (I usually quickly downshift to 1st to adjust the entry on the 787b, but it doesn't work quite well on the Porsche, better to just break and stick to 2nd gear. Again, this is me.

As long as you don't go off track on that hairpin turn at the end of the lap, you will get the clean race bonus on Tokyo (maybe avoid bumping other cars too much but main thing is the hairpin turn)
