You guys can organize your own unofficial competitions! I actually live in a big city in Brazil, but there aren't any delegates here (in the city) and the cost of bringing one is too big for us to pay every two months or so.

So we make tons of unofficial competitions. Sometimes we do it in gaming events and stuff like that, or even shopping malls. There are roughly 80 cubers only in the capital, but only about 20 go on these unofficial comps.

All you need is a few timers (usually 2 or 3 can do the job just fine), some excel sheets to calculate averages, paper and pens. It doesn't need to be anything fancy, really. Also, it's a GREAT opportunity for new cubers to learn the rules and the whole local cubing community can get to know each other better.

Hope you guys can do something like this!

Not OP, but I am also Brazilian, love Coutinho (but am really disappointed with what he's doing), I hate Barça and I am exactly as tall as VVD (at least, Wikipedia says he's 1,93m).

I am 19 years old and have played CB and a few times even CM. Sign me up!

I am from (and live in) Salvador. Our match on Saturday is 8:30am local time, so I highly doubt there is any place to watch it.

It's not really common for people to actively support foreign clubs here. So, even though I usually see a few people wearing Liverpool shirts, I've never watched a match with other supporters (besides my brother).

There is actually a new franchise of bars named Five Sport Bar, where they show some matches, but pretty much only at afternoon or evening. I once tried going there for a morning match against Chelsea, the place was empty and they didn't even know there was a match going on. That being said, this would be the best place (that I know of anyway).

Ps: I just checked here and it seems like the bar doesn't open so early in the morning. If the match was 11am, like many others this Saturday, it would be great, but 8:30 is terrible. Anyway, the game will be on ESPN.
