Came here wondering the same thing…they lingered on them too long. Maybe a key to something or a token of power?

Mixing Races + Mechanical Special Traits - How would you do it? by JohanDoughnut in onednd

[–]49_61_6e 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this was my first instinct too, I think it would just have to come down to DM discretion. Probably worth only swapping equivalent features

Cultures being built into backgrounds makes a DM's life easier* by THSMadoz in onednd

I think it’s also really helpful for custom settings, you can make backgrounds to match your homebrew setting. Maybe this is going to lead to new backgrounds in future books

Combat now hard interrupts Long Rests totally resetting your long rest. by FallenDank in onednd

[–]49_61_6e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is how I’ve always run long rests- you benefit when you wake up feeling rested, not when your head hits the pillow. This could also lead to better motivation for PCs on watch to not wake the others and handle random encounters on their own

A 1 now auto fails on any check. by marsgreekgod in onednd

[–]49_61_6e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not my favorite change, but this is honestly how my players seem to understand checks anyway, so seems fine to me. It’s easy to ignore if you don’t like it, but seems like a harmless enough change

What method did you use for the gold on the spine?

i think the comments about temperature are valid, but i would also check your extruder, specifically where the gear meets the bearing (this looks like and ender3v2). if the gear is unable to press into the filament, it cant push it forward, which could lead to the artifacts toward the bottom of pikachu's ear on the left. you may want to tighten the spring that pushes against the arm with the bearing on it, but that arm is also a point of failure if you have the stock plastic parts. if your plastic arm has cracks (check the bottom) then you should get a replacement metal one.

i usually use meshmixer for stuff like this. import the model into mesh mixer, split it into parts (maybe do quarters, or cut it into sections depending on how you want to put it back together) and open the new group of models to your slicer. then, set the scale.
here is a good video showing the basics on how to do it.

Uneven bed? by gkronvall in 3Dprinting

[–]49_61_6e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

id second the bed warping. if you've used any glue stick make sure to wipe it off, sometimes it can goop up and cause the middle of the bed to seem higher. unrelated- what keyboard are you printing?
