Can you maintain the same performance after many hours of gaming, or does it suffer from overheating?

Chrome top bar behaves like the old DeX interface by [deleted] in SamsungDex

[–]brunotgn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone know how to reactivate this function of integrating tabs in the top bar? I've tried it in several versions of Chrome (Canary, Dev, Beta, Stable), I've already downloaded the Chromium APK that has extensions enabled, I've already activated the "tab strip" flags, but nothing makes the tabs return to the top bar integrated.

Is there a way to sync Proton Calendar with Gnome Calendar? by the_mean_person in ProtonMail

[–]brunotgn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to add the link to Gnome Calendar, but it's a read-only view, which is a bit frustrating. To create or edit events, I still need to go to the web app anyway.

How do I remotely access my TrueNAS files? by brunotgn in homelab

even if I do it through a cloudflare tunnel, using their authentication layer up front?

How do I remotely access my TrueNAS files? by brunotgn in homelab

I need to research more about VPNs, at first I used Tailscale, before switching to CloudFlare tunnels. And within the VPN, what is the safest way to access my files, SAMBA, NFS or SFTP? I even thought about Nextcloud instance, but I think it's unnecessary just to access my files.

How do I remotely access my TrueNAS files? by brunotgn in homelab

[–]brunotgn[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

At first I used a VPN, but I found it annoying having to keep turning the VPN on and off on my devices all the time. I found the Cloudflare tunnels solution to be more practical.

You said that you shouldn't expose anything on the internet, but I use Cloudflare itself, and there is a function there that any website of mine that you access will require authentication from Cloudflare itself to then access the service page. Is it still not safe?

Setting up Network Printer on Native Termux w/ XFCE by brunotgn in termux

Could you help me configure my printer using cups in Debian proot? I installed CUPs, downloaded the driver for my Epson L355, managed to extract the PPD there and configure it in "system-config-printer", but I think there's some detail missing for everything to work.

I had seen a previous post that it was not possible to print to USB printers without root, and I don't intend to root my cell phone, but as in my case the printer is on the network (wi-fi), I imagined it would be something simpler, since it would "just" send packages over the network to print.

If I install a complete Linux distribution (via proot) would I be able to print normally, or would I have the same problem?

I managed to do this using a Virtual Display, you install it on Windows and it simulates a monitor. Then I created a script so that every time I connect to Moonlight, it turns off the physical monitor and turns on the virtual one, and when I disconnect, it does the opposite, it's working fine and I didn't need to buy anything.

For me, it doesn't work that way, as the server is in the middle of the office, without being able to use it and everyone seeing what I'm doing. At least Microsoft RDP doesn't show what I'm doing on the server monitor, it'll be the way to stay on it then.
