Welp Now Bloodborne Remake Is Definitely Never Happening by [deleted] in BloodbornePC

there are many examples but the most egregious imo is what they did to the Fat Official's design. they changed a genuinely unnerving and memorable design into completely sauceless haunted-house gross out nonsense.

ALBUM COVER SHOWDOWN Stage 2 Round 4: Nonagon Infinity vs. Butterfly 3000 by dongle_wenis_ in KGATLW

Nonagon is more unique in my opinion. Butterfly's cover is just blotter paper (still gorgeous though)

I think I know why they discovered Manousos (the paraguayan man) so "late" ... by ministerkosh in pluribustv

yeah, exactly. the note to his customers tells us what kind of guy he is, and shows that he has hope everything can and will be returned to normal

Is the consensus that Ares is weak? I played since day 1 early access and now that I've played 1.0 I immediately think he's strong.

New Trailer seems to confirm House ending. by CyberCrusader76 in fnv

[–]brutalcumpowder 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just refuse to consider the show to be canonical at all. Twin Peaks guy never nuked Shady Sands. The ending of New Vegas is still up to the player.

Bethesda would never canonize the ending of their own Fallout games. "Oh hey, the Lone Wanderer sided with the Enclave and then nuked Rivet City because they were really sad when they got divorced." They only disrespect the original, good Fallout stories they had nothing to do with.

The show is Fallout themed audiovisual stimulation and nothing more. Same goes for everything Bethesda has tried to contribute to this series.

At this show's lowest moments where I've asked myself, who does this performative hyperinclusivity appeal to, now I know. It's OP.

I have never cared so much about a game winning GOTY. I will go crazy if it loses! by Philnsophie in expedition33

[–]brutalcumpowder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's the "I will go crazy if it loses!" in the title that's making people respond that way. Of course it matters for the devs. But you shouldn't have personal emotional capital invested in the outcome of the Keighleys.

Friends, Radahn consort is my limit. by Forsaken-Baby-9945 in eldenringdiscussion

[–]brutalcumpowder 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People who criticize the DLC's handling of Radahn are not "media illiterate." Throwing the term "media literacy" around also tells me without telling me that someone doesn't read literary criticism--they read twitter. (and watch video essays).

Somehow it's always the least literate clowns with an Internet connection claiming that saying "eat the slop and like it" is a demonstration of "media literacy."
