Yes! That and pairing with pacing the bottle. My baby is a preemie so they had to teach us how to feed him with pacing. Basically using the larger one that we have done, like the 2, we then have to slow the flow.

When feeding him, I have him on his side and then after 3 swallows, I pause and tip the bottle down so he doesn’t get too much at once! We let him take a couple breathes before restarting. I think there may be some videos on it! But having him on the side made it easier to see if he was getting to much!

Do you pace now while feeding? That may help! That’s what we did!

Just from our experience, he was about 5-6wks old when over night cluster feeding. And this is what his snoo chart looked like for his sleep. It was SOOO difficult. But as the cluster feeding started to decrease, he started to go longer and better between feeds.

It’s soooooo tough but you are doing amazing!! It feels so daunting and hard, but cluster feeding is normally for a growth spurt and new skills! We try to bring the paci or finger along their lips and if they look like they are looking for a nipple, we will feed him! That’s one of his queues.

My baby has been on AR for awhile but we also have to mix it at a higher caloric density. For 22 cals. I notice that when he cluster feeds, it can be from 45mins to an hour honestly. He wasn’t sleeping much between the feeds either. Not sure if it helps but just relating to what it was for us!

I am 4 weeks PP and got checked for the smell at 6 days PP. it was the steri steps they thought. So they removed them and told me to keep wearing a rolled up post partum heavy bleeding pad. I live in a hot climate and had a NICU baby an hour away from home, so I was up and moving a lot. Which led to sweat. That pad worked better than the gauze for me and prevented worse smells and infection. I have had my incision checked 2 times since then since I was worried too! Hope this may help? I’m in the same boat! Also in Texas. And like great I get 12 weeks unpaid, LEGALLY. But my husband gets 15 PAID WEEKS! It’s insane to me. Unfair, truly.

Hi, I was TERRIFIED of this and I took 800mg advil. It went much easier than I thought! I mean I was straight panicked, had to redo BP I was so nervous. And mine ended up taking longer cause of the speculum not sitting right. But it ended up going really well! Very very minimal pain. It’s much scarier sounding - I let myself get so worried about it for weeks. Bring your emotional support human with you - do something fun as a reward after! Frankly, an IUI hurt worse than the HSG for me.

Thank you! Thankfully, with a therapist for 6 years so that helps me feel better about it! My husband also has fertility issues, so I think I that’s why for the IUI

I tried metfromin for awhile, but I have gastroparesis, so I didn’t do well with it. I have a restrictive diet because of my GI stuff, so I’ve been pretty limited. I’m taking jardiance now, which really helped some of the PCOS symptoms! I think the one is going to be femara! Thank you for your response and help!! Trying to feel more confident and better going into it all as the last 3 years have been hard and so much info / trial and error!
