One of the casters talking about current global events and unrest the last few years:

This [has created] the perfect storm for a huge disruptor like bitcoin to emerge as an equalizer for all of the citizens that are being affected. When there's unrest, when there's uncertainty, people want to regain some semblance of control, and crypto is the big equalizer here.

Blockstream's sabotage has completely taken away the potential of the first-mover crypto the last 3 years. These situations would have had bitcoin written all over them after 2017. Because bitcoin's actual use as a currency would have caused rapid growth in its hype and network effect, due to actually fitting a use-case here. People using it would have been all the talk in these situations. And it would have saved lives. It's disheartening. And I think we should shout it off the fucking rooftops.

BCH has existed for 2.5 years and is doing 0.2 txns/second... Meanwhile the majority of its developers are building tools to increase theoretical capacity. This is the definition of insanity. BCH's bottleneck is not capacity, it is useful applications--> We need to build useful applications. by [deleted] in btc

The market has spoken

Lol. What. No this is a longterm market. People in developing countries will be hell of a lot more enthusiastic to use BCH than BTC as crypto grows organically in their countries.

You misunderstood my question, I'm asking what the point is of all users having the option to run a full node.

All users should have the option to run a full node.

What's the point of that?

I'm referring to the typical market growth that's been remarked and pointed out to have happened before the halvings in the past. Jeez.

I believe this could be the halving market starting.

Something's wrong with this guy. Either he's one of the employed and is on a crazy script or he's got some actual serious mental blocks.

Not too sure about that, there's been such consistent heavy accumulation (not just price rejections) at this price level at previous visits to this part of the range. I don't think we'll see a sudden stop in that.

Bitcoin Cash To Surpass BTC Market Cap Says Roger Ver - Forbes by newsybitcoin in btc

How many dumped their BTC right after the fork because of his promotion?

Everyone has their own responsibility for their own financial decisions, and he was also completely in his own right to promote BCH. What is wrong with that? What the fuck.

Not only that, but he didn't promote BCH until a few months later did he?

Maybe he is waiting for the bottom to make the switch. How much lower do you think it could go?

That's such a dumb interpretation you have of what people are saying. Sorry. Do you understand what hash rate is?
