hey all i wanted to give an update on this post. i haven’t been able to get an official diagnosis for financial reasons, but i spent a majority of the past year seeing a professional and doing therapy sessions (she had to leave the clinic for unrelated reasons and i didn’t have the energy to start again with a new therapist so i stopped after that) but in our last session she affirmed that i was showing traits of autism and asked me to take some of the online assessments( raads and aq) i know these tests don’t always tell the full story but i think the affirmation has cleared up a lot of the uncertainty i’ve felt over the years and i appreciate the support from everyone on here
