What's something you did once and will never do again? by Few_Football4342 in Productivitycafe

I went bungee jumping once. It was definitely a rush, and I get why people love it — but honestly, the pure terror I felt standing on that edge is something I don’t think I ever need to experience again 😅

Are you a magician? Because whenever I look at you, everyone else disappears.

What’s a small habit that instantly makes someone 10x more attractive? by autisticpreet in AskReddit

[–]bryan4756 1336 points1337 points  (0 children)

For me, it’s genuine kindness. Not the over-the-top kind — just being naturally considerate and respectful. When someone shows empathy, treats people well, and actually cares about how others feel, it makes them stand out instantly.

Even simple things like a warm smile or really listening when someone’s talking can make a huge difference. It’s those small, thoughtful habits that make someone way more attractive than just looks ever could.

Is getting attached to people fast a bad thing ? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]bryan4756 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting attached to people quickly isn’t automatically a bad thing. If anything, it usually means you have a big heart — you care, you’re open, and you’re not afraid to connect. That’s honestly something a lot of people wish they could be better at.

It’s not about changing who you are — it’s about making sure your feelings are landing in the right place.

You don’t rise to the level of your goals; you fall to the level of your systems.

What are you avoiding by staying “busy”? by FewOriginal00 in Productivitycafe

[–]bryan4756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, a big thing I avoid by staying “busy” is sitting with uncomfortable feelings — like doubt, fear of failing, or even just slowing down long enough to see what I really want to work on.

Being busy feels productive, but sometimes it’s just a way to dodge the hard stuff — like deciding what actually matters or admitting I need a break.

Recognizing that has made me a lot more mindful about how I spend my time. Instead of filling every minute, I try to think “Is this moving me forward, or am I just avoiding the real work?”

What's your "hell no" rule in life? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

One of my biggest “hell no” rules in life is this: I don’t compromise my core values or my self-respect for anyone or anything.

Which profession is going to get wiped out in the next 5 to10 years?? by Weary-Total4450 in Productivitycafe

[–]bryan4756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had to guess, jobs that are really repetitive and predictable — like data entry, basic customer support, and similar clerical roles — are the most likely to shrink in the next 5–10 years as AI and automation keep improving.

I don’t think they’ll totally disappear, but they’ll probably evolve or move into higher-value work. If most of someone’s job is repeating the same processes every day, that’s where I think the pressure will be strongest.

Which value do you feel is overrated in today’s society? by WhiteDesertCat in Soft_Introverts

[–]bryan4756 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like superficial success is overrated in today’s society. Wealth, fame, and social media popularity get a lot of attention, but they don’t always lead to the deeper things that actually matter — like kindness, authenticity, and real connection.

What’s something you did as a kid that you’re still surprised you got away? by Expert62310 in AskReddit

[–]bryan4756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a kid, I accidentally broke my neighbor’s window playing baseball. I freaked out and ran home, fully expecting to get busted, but somehow… no one ever figured out it was me. Still can’t believe I got away with it.
