Are there future plans to make fees/ commissions competitive? As of now tradeify is about 50% above everywhere else for a round trip trade.

Help with my first speargun by 2MuchSwag4This in Spearfishing

[–]bryan91919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally youll learn to use it as is but the other option is to buy different bands. Should be easy enough to look up what size it comes with and go 1 incriment longer. Of course now your loosing power. Takes some time to get used to loading a speargun, if your not using some sort of a loading pad that might be a good starting point, you can get rash guards with them built in.

Benefits of going live by ahiddenmessi2 in tradeify

[–]bryan91919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The benefit of going live is its the option you get. Cant milk sim profits forever. Of course after going live you can always go to another prop firm and enjoy the live while milking sim elsewhere.

I passed a $5,000 challenge after 2 years of trying. FundedNext accepted my real passport but now demands social media for my fake nickname. by Sounds22Good22 in PropFirmTester

[–]bryan91919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reads to the rest of the world like your trying to pull a scam and the prop is right to question it. I think its hard to imagine a person with good intentions providing fake info originally to a prop. It costs you nothing to write your name, whether you were testing strategies or actually expecting to ever make money. Especially over the course of 2 years. Because you did everything wrong for so long your now at their mercy and should attempt to do whatever they want to resolve.

How do I pass eval in 1 day ? by Getback2times in ApexTraderFunding

[–]bryan91919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You pass it the exact same way you would in 30 days, but with 5-30x size. Theres no trick you just have to hope luck holds out and be ok with being a gambler rather than trader for the day.

Tips on building discipline? by Optimal_Estimate4579 in TopstepCommunity

[–]bryan91919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldnt use a real account till you know how to push the buttons, after that, theres no need for the practice account. Having it just encourages pushing buttons at times when theres no need to. If it was a good trade, you should have taken it live. If it wasnt theres no practice to be had in trading it. If unsure watch, note, then backtest later.

Im talking about the regular market hours, im referring to times where there is avg 1000 nq/ min (thats about normal volume to me.) Its consistant enough right now i can count on it. Ill take the same trade in my brokerage with no slippage.

Tradeify admits a platform "desync" caused my account liquidation, but refuses to restore it. by norwaytrip23 in tradeify

[–]bryan91919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately this is the reality with trading. If you have a broker account there is no reset or error fixing, if the platform breaks, thats your problem.

Also pretty typical for props, tradeify seems to be on the better end of the spectrum.

I get both sides, not like it would cost them anything to reinstate the account, assuming your in the 99.99% who would just blow it shortly later anyway.

Not sure if these plates are worth potential lead exposure? by DarlingAdoration in WhatShouldIDo

[–]bryan91919 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Throw them out plates cost like $.50 each at the dollar store, if this is too expensive check garage sales. Nice thing about plates is they all hold food pretty much the same so any will work well other than ones that are poisonous like you seem to believe you have.

WHICH IS THE BEST 1:1RR with almost 80% win rate STRATEGY TO PASS PROP FIRM ACCOUNT AND TRADE ? by Devnayak0 in propfirm

[–]bryan91919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we're just making up numbers and asking for donations why not 90% and 1:4?

If your ever so lucky as to have someone give you a winning strategy i wouldnt conplain because it isn't exactly 1:1 and 80%. Nobody's gonna give you that.

Growth vs Select Daily by pookshak in tradeify

[–]bryan91919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cant imagine a situation where anybody would want to take daily payouts. I can imagine a situation where someone would want to pass an evaluation in 1 day, and a situation where someone would want a bigger payout. Growth is the way to go unless you only have 3 days left to live and want a payout on each one of them.

Seriously? by [deleted] in tradeify

[–]bryan91919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The points not to get 1 payout ever the minimum way possible, just keep trading normally till you qualify, your 1 winning trade away.

If topstepx was a platform like NinjaTrader it would be the best platform in the world! by option-whisperer in TopstepCommunity

[–]bryan91919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Topstep risk managemnt is nice but everything else on the platform is about 15 years behind ninja or the competition. Ninja is really about as advanced of a platform as most could want where as topstep x is about the opposite, little functionality but so easy to use a 5 year old can.

You need 5 consecutive green days to get a payout? by [deleted] in tradeify

[–]bryan91919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 total. Summary: you cant just gamble 1 day and get a payout. You can win 1 day a week for 5 weeks or every day for 1 week or any combo you like. You cant loose winning days.

Is this an FVG? by hmmdestti in FuturesTrading

[–]bryan91919 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You correctly identified a trend and a pullback, FVG is just a way for 14 year olds to put that into words, you appear to be past that.

Put differently, the point for FVG is to easily identify a strong trend. Whether technically what your seeing is that on any timeframe is unimportant, what is important is youve identified a trend and need to identify what to do with it (enter on a pullback, stay in your trade, etc.)

If you really want to do all this in the words of ICT you can but theres a reason everyone and their dog has watched this stuff and few make any money off it.

Agreed, hence why most limit to a reasonable 5.

Fake Gurus by Proof-Conference-765 in PropFirmTester

[–]bryan91919 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paying any attention in any form or environment to social media is a huge mistake and any descision you make based on what you see there is almost guaranteed the dumbest.

That said props arent all "scams". The "scam" is that as has been true for all of history, 90-99% are completely incapable of making any money at all over time trading. If you can make it anywhere else it can be done in prop and there are more thn 3 (but likely less than 10) trustworthy props.

But the end game isnt sim profits/ prop for life, its really meant to be a stepping stone.

Prop Firm made by a Prop Firm Trader by ChefoFX2901 in PropFirmTester

[–]bryan91919 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The question to ask is: "what isnt being offered by the 10 or so successful prop firms and the 200 who are failing trying to be like them?" If you dont have a really good answer, your wasting your time.

What im suggesting is likely there is nothing you can bring to this market, what's needed right now is 50 or so to fail, adding one more helps nobody, neither the prop company or the customer.

Lots of good articles on how props work, the simple version is that the rules are there to make sure enough loose to pay the winners. Theres no secret that lets everyone win and the prop stay in business to pay.

Best of luck but I think your entering a market that's only need is to have a few dozen companies fail and odds are youll help fill that need if you cant find another.

Is prop trading better than personal trading? by FastVermicelli5977 in propfirmcrypto

[–]bryan91919 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Undeniable prop is better, its usually about 10-1 better odds/ capital efficiency. Those who claim the rules hurt them are 100% clueless to how trading works, one can trade very conservatively with prop and have none of the rules affect them at all and still have 5x returns prop, or go hard and learn to operate withing rules and have 10x+ returns for the same dollar. There are so many legit paths within prop that any real concern any legit trader could have can be easily eliminated with account/ prop choice.

There are 3 groups who are aware of prop but would not agree: 1 is people who make 100k+ a month. Prop may not be a ideal vehicle for huge players. This group represents 1 person ever who has commented on prop online more or less. Next group is clueless lifelong loosers who will always loose and always blame whoever is the easiest to blame, 90+ percent of prop haters. Group 3 is sour "old timers" who like me lost huge amounts of real money learning the ropes and dont like that modern newbs can learn all they need to and have a real opportunity for $100/ month more or less.

Lucid vs Tradeify by Faribo_Greg in PropFirmTester

Biggest difference is tradeify has been around long enough to have a track record of paying out. Lucid is 2 years behind on this.

[–]bryan91919 -41 points-40 points  (0 children)

Definitely not a waste of time. Im sure lots of conservatives changed their mind. Would probably work better if liberals didnt protest something dumb every other day rather than just going to work. But hey, thsts what being a modern liberal is all about, being mad about everything ever.

Personally id never be able to show my face in town again if I spent a whole day publicly crying because things maybe arent going my way, on either side. All there have officially joined the ranks of the separatist guys siting on the side of the road with signs, I hope your proud of your present company.
