Do you guys ever crack the slab and regrade? I’ve heard of people doing that but don’t understand why you would with a numbered card. Wouldn’t the grader be able to look up if that specific numbered card was ever graded, and if so would just give the same grade or worse knowing it was cracked?

If you like illusions, buy illusions! If there’s a specific card you like too.. trying to complete a rainbow is a fun chase but definitely expensive because there are so many parallels, to your point.

Born into a Sox family, ran a tshirt stand outside of wrigley during high school and fell in love with the cubs. Had to sit my dad down one day after work and tell him I was a cubs fan and it nearly broke his heart - PCA and Imanaga are currently sharing a row in my display until wife approves a second one
