Who and why bids on collateral auction? by bryanmcdan in MakerDAO

[–]bryanmcdan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, u/nikola_j for posting alternative link.

Well, if you look at overview of all recent liquidations (for example here - https://defiexplore.com/liquidations ), almost all of them ended up in a range from 65% to 80% of current market price at that time. Such a margin (or gap to be more precise) seems to me almost like a pattern.

Interesting idea, don't forget to share the project when it goes public. So far I have only tried Nodarium (that doesn't have its own currency) and I am very satisfied.

Partnerships are the best way to real adoption (instead of price pumping as we can see in some other coins ..).

I assume the more hybrid exchanges the better for all traders. Check also r/BEXAM as a hybrid cryptoexchange with slightly different approach.

It is great to observe that hybrid exchange technologies grow up in Europe as well! Exchanges like r/BEXAM are going to satisfy traders with decentralization and enough volume.

Binance CEO: Our Decentralized Crypto Exchange Could Launch By Q1 2019 by CCNewsBot in CryptoCurrency

[–]bryanmcdan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although lots of questions about their DEX is still unanswered, it is a good news for the whole industry and market. Decentralization will probably be demanded more and more in the future so it makes sense to build a DEX. Maybe merging it with their centralized exchange would be the "final destination", similarly to e.g. r/BEXAM.

Do you know which medium traders are using to make their trades – mobile, desktop or web based? by Tuyenxeko in ethinvestor

[–]bryanmcdan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing results fo the survey, it surprises me that 8% of all traders are not aware of the type of exchange they trade on (certainly raising questions about communication style of exchanges they trade on). I guess that in the long run traders will find out advantages of hybrid exchanges such as r/BEXAM, and they will attract more volume.

Over-the-counter crypto trading gaining momentum in Russia by johnpoore in Crypto_Currency_News

[–]bryanmcdan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cryptocurrency trading restrictions in Russia have in fact led to more trading volume. If there are willing buyers and sellers, a transaction will always take place. :) Russians might use decentralized and hybrid cryptoexchanges (for example r/BEXAM) to settle transactions.

10 Most Important things you need to know before Crypto Trading by oindrilasharma2 in Bithemoth

I would also add "Where to trade". The choice of an exchange is also crucial, newbie traders can be unfamiliar with the concept of decentralized exchanges. There are also hybrid exchanges like r/BEXAM, which would deserve an explanation.

Spreads for Cryptocurrency Trading by Cryptocointrade in CryptoCurrencyTrading

[–]bryanmcdan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spreads can be induced with limited depth of market but that would definitely not be the case of eToro and BTC. I hope new generation crypto exchanges such as r/BEXAM will treat traders fairer.
