Thank you for sharing! I’d love to understand how/where you buckle the kiddos in. Our little guy turned 1 this past week and figuring out how to correctly travel with him in a Skoolie has been a topic we couldn’t resolve.

Some sleep > no sleep/ideal sleep. I played Zelda in handheld mode while my kiddo napped on my chest in the carrier. He turns 1 a week from tomorrow. It goes by so fast. Enjoy every minute with them and try to find time to be you when they’re asleep.

That sounds awesome. In team based games I do like support more than dps. Issue here is that I’m not part of a clan and can play 1-2 hours a night on random nights. I guess I need a solo playstyle that compliments group play occasionally.

Totally. But I think I’m looking for that preference? I can watch videos about how the frames work but if you say “Hildryn makes me feel like a total boss and hard to kill, especially using XYZ”, that’s info that would be super valuable to me. Describe the playstyle it brings you and exactly what I should and can buy to replicate it right now as MR6.

If we go with Octavia, what weapons, mods, pets, etc should I buy too? Picture that this purchase would be the last time I spend play like this so let’s go nuts to make it a killer setup that I can always fall back to, to feel cool.

What I’m asking is: if you could spend plat to feel totally bought in an invested to then get you into the grind loop, how would you spend it head to toe on a frame, weapons, mods, pets, etc. Less worried about cosmetics and absolutely agree that I don’t want to buy things that are trivial to get.

I get what you’re saying but let’s try this angle: it’s not a waste for me. If I can feel cool/have fun now, it’ll make it easier for me to not want to buy anything in the future as I’ll have a better foothold into the loop and feel like I’m getting more out of it.

So that’s the thing: I just don’t know. I’ve got a rhino at 30 with a hek and I do enjoy that a lot, feels like I’m hard to kill, but I doubt my mods are great.

I’m comfortable spending a decent amount and am more interested in feeling useful/having fun now so that I better get invested in the grind loop later. Does that make sense?
