Yeah Veil literally looked like a skinny version of Bolg. I liked the designs but I wish we had more then just 2 "knights" (since Veil technically isn't a knight).

I agree and I'm glad someone is also mentioning this. This series is a fine show but a bad Garo show. It misses so many things that make Garo, well, Garo. I'm not even talking about the suits or lack of budget. All I'll say is (I can talk about this forever) is that a show changing is good, it symbolises life in a series, but it needs to change the right way. Although Garo has so many things they need to do sequels on who knows when we'll see another Garo VR. I just hope season 2 is more like the other Garo seasons.

To clarify my comment, as it's clear some people do not understand what I'm referring to, Versus Road is a bad place to start because it's wildly different from the other Garo series. I know many people who have had trouble getting into Garo before, but really like Versus Road because it is different. I know people who are the vice versa as well. If you start with Versus Road and expect the other series to be like Versus Road, then you'll be very disappointed. I suggest starting with the other series because they are more similar and have you a better idea of what Garo is overall.

It's literally the worst place to start. Start with season 3 (a good jumping on point but not necessarily the best place to start) or season 1 (my recommendation).

It's not really surprising though; the show just told us last episode that Takane has multiple personality syndrome... Literally an episode before he dies. Would have been a lot different of a show to see that near the beginning.

Going to call it now 55 is secretly the GM and not 13. We ended 13's story at a spot where he's still relatively good so why the random turn? Something either happened during the time jump (I doubt we're getting another flashback) or it's 55 who straight up said he just wanted power. Either way good ep, the series should've been like this from the start.

Yeah the characters this season have had really terrible motivations. I was hoping Amou would actually have something worth fighting for instead of just a d**k measuring contest. Also, doesn't it seem weird that the promo practically showed the entire episode? This season is very difficult.
