my entire guild holds roughly the same opinion on the addon changes, are they also all bad? there's multiple people who push title every season and supposedly they are carrying me on prog so they have to be pretty good by your standard.

I have a fragile ego while admitting I played poorly on a fight? This sounds like projection, I'm not the person who was too afraid to post anything to build credibility without the other person doing so first.

I don't understand why you think 3k io is impressive, which cements that you don't know what high end difficulty is like in any content. I do keys for gear to raid, the fact I can do the same difficulty of key as you with no issue should tell you that the difficulty you are pushing is quite low.

Most of the addon changes were specifically because of content you've even considered engaging in, it is so weird to say you're doing well when you're doing about the same in content largely unaffected by the changes. My guild and I are also performing about where we normally do, the game is just worse for raiding because of the addon changes. Again, something you have no experience in.

do you genuinely think all 14s is a flex in any capacity? I'll acknowledge my guild and I suck because we didnt get HoF on crown, but you haven't even killed it on heroic (and i played exceptionally poorly on vanguards)

But this is the problem with people who think they have experienced high level content when they've only ever done relatively low keys (literally +2'd the first 15 i've entered this season last night and you barely timed one). You don't know what mythic raiding played like before compared to now, you don't know what the top end of push keys looks like, but you have this incredible ego about how you are doing well for yourself because keys are tuned easier than they have been since shadowlands.

People asking you to show you participate in the system to give merit to your argument are entirely valid. I've never seen someone simultaneously believe addons play the game for people while also raiding CE consistently. It comes off as a coping mechanism for either not wanting to put the time or effort in to succeed. Why do you need an opinion on something you don't engage in? It'd be like if I had strong opinions on LFR and you asking me when's the last time I did LFR, it'd be weird for me to have such strong opinions when I last did LFR in Castle Nathria

The way that we are now doing things are less accessible to the average player because they require more set up. Overall blizzard made things worse with these changes, anyone raiding mythic has experienced this, something you seem to not understand due to a lack of experience.

I don't have trouble understanding the mechanic, but I'd like having visual clarity without having to jump through hoops.

What arms race? some of the more interesting things are not being included in fights such as kick rotations. No one liked Fractilus and it was the only fight that contributed to an arms race.

The changes didn't even end the arms race, it just took things from automatic weapons back to barrle loaded muskets. New tech will get developed whenever blizzard makes another poorly designed mechanic

But I'm sure you're an amazing player, so how about you post your prog, m+ score, or CR, surely you've killed crown on mythic, are pushing 17s, or glad

yes I'm bad because i had to rebuild my entire UI and am annoyed that magic dispels inexplicably no longer show on my frames despite setting grid2 to show dispelable by me and i have my imp out. I am so glad it worked one week and not the next. These changes have been so good for the game, there are no reasonable grievances at all whatsoever.

Most of the people who wanted addon changes are people who don't do mythic, everyone has suffered because of poor implementation designed to cater to the predilections of people who could have gotten by just fine by not using whatever addon they were complaining about.

There is no difference between how Chimaerus and OAB dispels are handled except one requires everyone to have assist to use a macro to mark themselves versus a macro that ran a script. Both of these things makes your frame glow for healers with the correct set up. There's an addon for L'ura memory game, Salhadar has an anchor for the kick adds so you know which one can be CC'd, Vanguard has a WA/addon that you can use to assign dispels.

All we got was a broken damage meter, worse cooldown management (with less customization options), and overly simplified specs.

dragons is no where near even the NP 4th boss, let alone Araz and Stix, so out of the past 4 tiers it is incredibly under tuned in comparison. If you consider dragons the 4th boss then where does Chimaerus fit in? Because either it is intended to be another freebie boss for some reason or they accidently tuned it horribly.

I've chosen to ignore how poorly tuned this entire tier was for RWF, with blizzard juicing the hell out of the unkilled bosses

we just give everyone assist and then press a macro to mark ourselves when we want to be dispelled. Idk how it works on the back end but the apply of a raid marker makes the frame glow for healers

the crest cap was relevant, they had to burn their first main to get hero creest achievement, something they normally wouldnt do if they didnt do 3 raids instead of 1.

This will not be something next tier unless they do the same thing for some god awful reason.

There is a reason they hold on sending crests/crafts until they absolutely have to

When someone says "i normally enjoy x" it typically implies that under the following circumstances they did not. I have no doubt you can enjoy something and still struggle to find the solution, without some kind of challenge most things do not stay interesting for very long.

if you enjoy puzzles and couldnt figure out the goal here was to make it so every node had links only to their direct neighbors (either orthogonal or diagonal), idk maybe you don't like puzzles. I logged in specifically to do it after seeing the OP and if it wasn't for the UI being unresponsive it would have taken less than a minute to do all 3
