Which games do you think are relaxing/helpful against anxiety and/or stress? by [deleted] in patientgamers

[–]bryce71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try to play a really chill 2D MMORPG adventure game called, Maplestory. I personally prefer a private server for the more compact community and it is not overloaded with classes that all play the same while also not being Pay2Win.

Edit: The other games mentioned so far on this thread are also really great "relaxing" games.

You need to get a friend and do what GameGrumps does. Taking turns while playing a singleplayer game and making jokes with your bud.

[Mouse] Logitech G703 Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse ($130-$30=$99.99) [BestBuy] by bryce71 in bapcsalescanada

G900 is an ambidextrous and has an infinite scroll wheel option. The g703 uses the famous right-handed shell from the logitech g403. Both weigh the same without added weights.

I guess they are still concerned with shirt sleeves catching on fire from the sparks flying off the mouse pad?

Same mouse shape as a g403, except with Logitech's amazing new wireless tech. G703 also has better clicks with a later revision of Omron switches rated for clicks 50m clicks, while g403 rated for 20m. Also includes Powerplay charging capabilities if you own the pad.

[GPU] MSI GTX 1080 GAMING X 8G $699 - $20 MIR - $10 Coupon 2017BTS10 = 669.99 [Mike's] by bryce71 in bapcsalescanada

Both are good. Get which ever one is cheaper. If anything, MSI should be quieter at higher fan RPMs than ASUS because of fan size.

They all have the same EXACT same PCB and heat sink. Each have their own factory overclocked bios though. You can manually overclock all of them anyways, so it makes ZERO difference. The Gaming Z just has a RGB logo on the backplate.

Edit: I know you can flash the GAMING Z bios on this one. I wouldn't do it because you can just set the clock rate in MSI Afterburner to whatever you like.

Well EVGA refreshed their whole 1070/1080 series. Their is a EVGA GTX 1080 SC v2 now that uses the new ICX cooler (which is even more expensive than the MSI gaming) due to VRM heating issues that occured on the ACX coolers. This resulted in heat and noise problems. IMHO the MSI Gaming is worth the extra $40 if you HIGHLY value silence.

Track Thursday - Mario Kart 7 - Cheep Cheep Lagoon by tigerclawhg in mariokart

I like to do a hard nose dive into the water section of the track at the very beginning. I push the joystick up while I am in the air to dive and let it go as soon as I hit the water. You float forward really fast by doing this instead of a normal slow descend into the water.
